On line do you act more like the real you or less

I do have a tendancy to rub people the wrong way both online and in real life which lead to ALOT of lies about me circulating.

 

I'm pretty much the same, i'm a bit calmer online and i don't swear as much as i normally would.

 

I'm more of the same, except maybe a bit more nutty....but not too nutty, just nutty enough to be considered nutty, but not be considered overly nutty, or on the verge of too much nutty, just ample amounts of nutty and nothing more really....

 

I'm far more tolerant and patient, online.

...In 'real life' I don't suffer fools gladly.

 

I'm still the same online and off. Online i used to be a bit more of a jerk when i was growing up because i've always been small and frail. but I was never a "troll" or anything. I'm really tolerant of everything outside of stupidity. You can ask Graciano1337... I'm pretty much obsessed with games in real life as much as I am on here. It's getting hard for me to have conversations that don't pertain to video games unfortunatly. I used to pride myself on retaining that ability but it's quickly diminishing...

Regarding the fact that I do not even speak English in real life, I can hardly act like that on this forums. But I try to anyway, more or less successful^^

 

I think I swear more offline: I'm the same person Online and Offline (I think) but I do sound more depressed in my blog than I do in person, I hope.

Now there's also the language barrier.
Do our written personalities change when we write in languages that aren't our native ones?

 

Judging from your posts, I don't know. Your English has been pretty much perfect every time you post. I always forget that it's your second language, and (not to sound egotistical) I've had a better grasp of the English language than most people I've ever met (and many online).

As Taemos said, it depends on your skills in the certain language. But personally, I think for "normal" English-speaking people for whom it's a second language, it takes its time to express the persons unique character like with their own language.
My responses in german forums are usually in a far more personal language than in the pragmatic English one that I learned at school.

But of course it's possible with just enough practice!^^ I'm working on it so maybe one day this forum is going to experience the REAL ave... stay tuned for this once-in-a-century event!:nod:

Actually, I usually keep to myself. If I dunno you, I won't really talk to you. I'm not rude or anything though. I think I have a wierd sense of humor and laugh, so that might bug people.

The only thing I hate is when people have no sense of humor. When I say something like "I wear my boxers with the hole in the back to accept the incoming sausages you should LAUGH damn it, not look at me weird and say "what?" When I open up goatse and run away you should say gross and run away, not fucking stand there and say "what?". It's suppose to be funny!
