Thanks I have searched my collection of PSX magazines (from Croatia) and found some more information's: I have found in issue 7 (October 1999) on picture of Onimusha (PS2 version). They have TGS 1999 report and on two pages there are information and pictures of first PlayStation 2 games... Onimusha is only with one picture Next in issue 15 (July 2000) they have some small info from E3... In issue 19 (October 2000) there were small info from TGS 2000... http://oi48.tinypic.com/6gctoo.jpg Also in issue 23 (May 2000) there was 2 page preview of game and review was in issue 24 (June 2000)... Here you can find more pictures from Onimusha coverage from Croatian PSX and Official Croatian PlayStation magazine, also there is Onimusha review in folder... Onimusha Croatia Sadly I don't have PSX issues from 2-6 from 1999, but I think that maybe there was some coverage of PlayStation One version... Also I dont have issue 8 and issues 12-14...
I manage to find two videos from PSX version of Onimusha from 1999 on IGN youtube channel! And here is second video. I haven't played Onimusha so I don't know if this gameplay video is similiar to PS2 version or not... I noticed that HUD is similar, and enemies and locations aren't that much different. On PS2 Samanosuke model is looking better and of course because of strength of new stronger console visually everything is better. From gameplay perspective everything is the same - PS One can handle it... To bad that Capcom scrapped PSX version
