  1. Http://www.asiafoods.com seems to have an interesting selection that may be worth looking into. Ramune soda by the case, mmm. :-D

These make me laugh, "authentic"? "good"? I'm disappointed Kikkoman! Also, they're sold in practically every supermarket..

They have pearl/tapioca tea (bobas) but they don't have Thai iced tea? :\ If you like thai food you must know thai iced tea.

This is the best US imported brand, and much cheaper than it used to be.

what about that real thick type of ramen noodle i see people eating in japan?? Its not the same as the ramen noodles that are condensed into a block that you can buy from a grocery store... where can you get the thicker noodles?

I presume you're talking about udon. You can buy great instant udon meals from Japan but probably not online/in America since they can't be dehydrated/reconstituted. You can however usually buy bare udon noodles vacuum packed (which is what they use in the deluxe J instant meals) in lots of US supermarkets

Hawaii is nice but damn expensive. Puerto Rico is just as good and damn cheaper because of its Territory status.

Uh... yeah. Where the fuck have you been? :)
I'm in Honolulu. You're going to move here after your year stint in Shibuya? It's not a bad place... if you want to practice your Japanese... hell... just go down to Waikiki and help the old people around.

In all honesty I would've never moved here, but my whole company moved. I get to do whatever the fuck I want as long as I get my work done. I wear what the fuck I want, get to do office sports, and goof off, and get paid, so I couldn't very well turn them down, now could I?

I take it your local Chinatown doesn't have any Asian groceries? I guess Canadians are pretty fortunate. You can find Chinese shops just about anyplace. Or at least a T&T supermarket.

I use to eat lunch at 7-11 here every day, but I've reached my limit on that stuff. Yuck!

I guess that makes my favorite Pepsi NEX.
