Hello, I'm looking into buying this original Xbox, the logo in the center on the top of the console is red though... I can't seem to find any info about it - is this a special edition or something? Does anyone know anything about an Xbox that has a red logo instead of the normal green logo?
Yeah sorry. On a phone with a dying battery and no power. You can easily pop a jewel off, buff off the green paint,and paint it red behind the jewel. Easy to keep the silver Xbox text, but if the person messes up you can repaint that easily as it's indented. Black looks slick
i appreciate the answers. i dont think this guy modded it, but possibly someone prior did. he said he got it from the game store this way, so maybe. im going to try to get it still just because its cheap enough if it is a diamond in the rough, ill be happy.

But it's five for $38, what a deal! I did the same for my daughter and changed the jewel to purple. It can take some time to make it look good but not impossible. Nothing in Xbox history has ever been red. Except for the RROD.
