    Option 1)

    1) Old screwdriver
    2) Superglue on tip
    3) Hold to screw, let dry
    4) Unscrew screw
    5) Break screw off screwdriver, repeat
    6) When all screws removed, let screwdriver tip sit in acetone to remove superglue residue

    Option 2)

    1) Get a few older plastic pens
    2) Remove caps
    3) Use a lighter to soften the tips to the point of pliability
    4) Press the soft tip into the screw
    5) Wait until it rehardens
    6) Use pen like a makeshift screwdriver
    7) Repeat until all screws are out

You can drill the screw heads out with a cobalt bit, pop the cover and then remove the remaining studs with small vice grips.

    Can't find my car keys.

Nah, I'll just cut around the door handle.

Seriously. Melting the plastic on your case is going to ruin it. Just use hotglue and an old screw driver! It's simple and effective.

If necessary use a pair of needle nose pliers and grasp the edges of the screw- rotate and repeat until it's loose enough to unscrew with your hands.

I'f not I'll pay for the shipping if you're just going to toss it.

Just get it shipped back to yourself with Australia Post. I had one turn up and all the standoffs on the plastic case had shattered.
Make sure you pad the box with newspaper only, nothing elaborate like bubble wrap.

Tough situation to be in though, I've opened a few that had screws very close to being stripped.
What I usually do on smaller screws is strip the screw as much as I can then jam in something with grip that is slightly larger.
Usually Torx screwdrivers do the job, example from what was a 00 Phillips -> T6 -> T8. Sometimes you just need to keep stepping it up!

I've never tried that technique on larger screws like on the Xbox though. Worth a try if no more damage can be done!

How the hell do you mess up a Torx screw?!?!

Use a flat headed screwdriver that will fit across the width. If that doesn't work, use a screw extractor. If that doesn't work, you'll have to drill it out.

    You don't? Phillips 00 -> T6 -> T8.
Since T6 is roughly the same size as Phillips 00. T6 is a lot rounder than a Phillips (and less prone to snapping bits of the end of too!).

    Different strokes for different folks.

Yeah it wasn't the best idea, but i had to use round-nose pliers a lot of times to unscrew Torx screws - never damaged any screw that bad, usually just some scratches, that's all.
Anyway bradawl + drill will always help in this kind of situatuion.
