I'm always SO stoked to see someone else mention Kung Fu Chaos. I remember putting it on the shelf when I worked at GameStop and having to try it because of how ridiculous it looked. I was instantly sold, and spread the infection to damn near every one of my friends. The addition of custom soundtracks only made it better, especially when watching the replays w/commentary by Shou Ting. Now if only everyone else would love Grabbed by the Ghoulies...
It did? Mine likes to play CD-R's (coincidentally Philips but mfg'd by some Taiwanese company) and reads them fine. It's alright w/ my CD-RW's iirc.
I know. I used this very informative site for reference: http://home.comcast.net/~admiral_powerslave/dvddrives.html
I really don't think so? Name me one first person shooter, for example, that supports custom soundtrack feature. Granted it's probably not a genre that most people would like to play with their own music, but I'm sure very few games supported the feature. Edit: A quick google shows that you are correct, as according to http://www.theisozone.com/tutorials/xbox/general/list-of-xbox-games-with-custom-soundtrack-support/ more than one hundred and twenty XBox games support the custom soundtrack. That's a lot more than I'd have thought! Only about five first person shooters are on the list, sadly, but that's still five more than I'd have guessed. I wish the Timesplitters games had support the custom soundtrack feature though, they support most other things you're likely to want in an old school multiplayer FPS.
