Other games you'd like to get the Mega man 9 treatment?

I think Capcom is going to start a retro shit storm of sequels done in the old style. There's also games in that style like Braid and the upcoming owl boy 16 big games on next gen hardware as downloadable games.

The Question is.....what other old games do you want to get this treatment?

Castlevania would be at the top of my list. III is my favorite followed by IV
a new one in the style of either would be welcome. Every Castlevania game lately is just a clone of SON.

A new 8 bit Ninja Gaiden would be awesome

    Streets of Rage

A 16 bit style Sonic 4 is long LONG LONG over due

Another game like the Uninvied, Shadow Gate and the awesome Deja Vu would also be welcome.

I can't think of more but I'm sure there are plenty. So....shoot.

This is exactly why I can't stand Square-Enix these days. So many sequels, and the only original games are thrown on the DS.

silly Square for wanting to publish on the most hot selling console of the recent years now that the Ps2 has been slowly fading away and most PS3s out there aren't backward compatible eh?:p

I m all for a new Donkey Kong Country. Sonic is at the top of the list obviously too and so is anything relating to 16bit Mario!

None because the NES graphics look awful. I'd like to see quite a few 16bit looking titles mind you.

I don't know if I want any game in that form at all. They are gonna vanish someday somehow from the servers and I won't download them while they are still up (not online with not a single console).

I really wish there was a cartridge ect. release of Mega Man 9 or Gradius Rebirth. It's pretty nice they develop sequels to classic games in the traditional style, but all that download shit makes it completely uninteresting to me.

well you can still save your copy to an SD card on the Wii, and back it up on an external HDD or USB flash for example on a PS3. I know the DRM drawbacks of course but I guess it's better than nothing.

Eventually the DRM will be broken and these games will live forever.

I LIKE the NES megman graphics more than the SNES Megaman 7 graphics.

    Yes! And Sonic.

There actually was a pretty good 16 bit style TMNT on GBA when the movie came out.

Yeah, the one that came out when the PS2/GC/Xbox TMNT did was good too for GBA.

Were the Xbox/GC/PS2 one's any good? The first one looked like it might be fun.

    Yes, we are.

They also have been publishing on PSP ( Crisis Core was amazing i must add). Im not against releasing games on the DS, but doing a game and releasing it on bot the PSP and DS cant be that hard, other that cutting any touch screen features out.

    I second this statement.
