heres the upload for hell gate i think they used r11 sdk
as i was looking in the files i found a 1st read.bin all it needs is a ip.bin

Were the files recovered or still active on the drive? There is only one 1st_read.bin and it wouldn't load. It would get past the "licensed by" screen and go to a black screen and stop. GD Workshop didn't show that it was trying to load anything either, so it just stopped. The 2_dp.bin file in the root directory would flicker on the screen and then go to the black screen and stop like 1st_read.bin. I could get the browser to run in the GD_ROOT folder, but it looked like it wasn't going into 60Hz mode.

 

Maybe it runs in 50hz as it comes from a PAL dev box. That would explain why you get no image.

hi got it to boot but screen goes black after sega boot screen

 

I'm happy to give you a good news : Someone was able to debug your hellgate 1st_read and a release will be available everywhere soon

I have not checked the file but this is the nfo :

It's working i have tested it on nullDC

We have additional game assets from raylid archive, may be some additionnal contents for the game too

rename game data folder in HELLGATE put 1st_read.bin on the root of the disc

so :

HELLGATE
1ST_READ.bin

and that's it you got a working version (some binhacking is needed for selfboot way)

hi i just put the data files in a folder called hell gate and it just booted on my dev box so i will now use my gd-r witer
