I'm not going to put 100% faith in Wikipedia on this, but in the "Release" category of their page on P.N.03, the writer specifically states that playable demos were distributed to stores in Japan before the game came out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P.N.03#Release Personally, I only know of the standalone PAL region demo (which I own, and is nothing special), and the NTSC region demos that were distributed on the Interactive Multigame Demo Discs (also nothing special). A Japanese demo would be very interesting, however, since the NTSC-J version was released well before other regions anyway. If anything, I imagine it would be on one of the kiosk demos released in Japan. There doesn't seem to be any comprehensive information on which game demos actually existed on these, or even how many discs were released. I've only seen a few pop up on eBay, and I believe there is a blue boxed kiosk disc with a demo of Super Mario Sunshine, at the very least. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I have an NR disk of this somewhere, I think it is a standard review version though so I dont think there is anything different about it.
Yes, I believe I also had that NR disc at one time. I find it hard to believe that I wouldn't have heard of this NTSC-J demo anywhere on the internet, but hopefully someone will have a definitive answer eventually. I'll keep searching myself, as well. I'd mainly like to know for collection purposes. The only Japanese Gamecube demo disc I have (aside from the Biohazard 0 Trial Edition), is a "Soft E Catalog" sampler with a demo of Viewtiful Joe on it. These discs are pretty interesting, because they have software libraries of games that were released on Gamecube up to that point. There is a whole sub-page dedicated to info on P.N.03 (as well as other games), but no playable demo.
