That area that bubbled needs to be glass papered not sand papered because glass paper is much finer. The area around the letters probably happened because you were too close when spraying. about 30cm is the closest you should get. Hmm, the red shouldn't come off on to the white. Maybe the paint is still a bit tacky. On my systems I don't use any sealer (Gives a shine I don't want) yet I have not problems like you mentioned above. If you must use a coat of sealer, just add it to the inside of the lid. So far it's looking pretty cool. All you need is to get some logos made up or better still use one of those Kroy Machines that can have fonts loaded up to it to make the MARTY text so that you can stick it on. It will certainly look the part then!! Yakumo
Alrighty I'll get the glass paper. Any idea of what they call that in Japanese? The guys at NAFCO aren't the best at figuring out what you're talking about...heh. I might just sand down all of the bas relief letters and just make it all flush. I'll do that if the paint remover doesn't work well on the letters. I'm not going to add the logos back on again. There's a calligraphy teacher who lives a few doors down and I'm going to have her put "Japan" in kanji on the upper right hand corner. The red and white is supposed to be a Japan theme.
Hmm, as far as I know Glass paper is called Glass Paper in Japanese. Of course the pronounce it in katakana. yakumo
Looking at this thread I picked up a WHITE MARIO CUBE the other day (see other threads) All looks cool....but the guts where the handle is is black Black ones are black/purple are purple and i am sure NR readers are green Is this correct?
