    Hello all.

I am in the process of completely a website dedicated to video game hardware. I am about 50% complete at this time with a target release date of 01-Sep-08. This site is dedicated to providing detailed information. ratings, pictures and reviews of the old, new and obscure video gaming systems. The content is written by a group of collectors/enthusiasts that, as a whole, collectively own every system that is being reviewed.

One of the consoles that is covered is the Panasonic M2. I do have the FZ-35s model, but I am not an expert on this unit at all. I received the manual pages from someone here (please let me know so I can give you credit on this page) since my system is not CIB. I could use a hand from an expert to give a detailed hands-on review for this system. Of course, full credit would be given. The link to the existing page thus far:

    http://www.videogameconsolelibrary.com/pg90-3do2.htm

The pages that have been uploaded thus far can be found on the Site Map page under the Main Menu. Any other feedback on how this is coming along would be great. 98PaceCar and Dark Watcher are also members of this joint website effort. A good sample page of our joint efforts is the 3DO page.

Their are a few main systems that we do not collectively own - the CreatiVision, Sony PSX, Daewoo Zemmix, Olivetti Envision (kind of a stretch here) and a DISCover system.

Thanks in advance all for your assistance - it is truly appreciated.

Thank you very much for the feedback and info WK, as well as for the scans you sent to me some time back when I first acquired my FZ-35s. :)

How would you like me to credit you for the scans & information? Include an email or website? Let me know so I can update the page accordingly. Overall, how do you think the page is turning out thus far? I am still missing a credit for two models (pictured together - I have had that picture for years).

Thanks again for your time and thoughts all.

    Terry

My comment is this: the 3do m2 proto video at the top is just the konami arcade system, nothing prototype about it ;)

Thanks again Borman - change has been made - let me know how to credit you as well before I upload the updated version.

I thought there was once an Assemblers page on the M2 back in the day. If the page is still live, can someone please forward me the link so I can add it to the 'Links' section?

    Thanks again all.

Well I do think credit is deserved - I was just appreciative of receiving them, regardless of the condition. I think the video game community (at least those interested in the M2) is as well.
I have updated the credit as you have described. Awesome new video - you have uploaded that recently. Added a link to your YouTube page in the links section (let me know if this is OK).
I agree - I just have a limited number of pictures at my disposal from my system and I am not into ripping pictures from others. Like the picture from the other member here (thanks for allowing me to credit zappendduster - I have had that pic for years), I will state that I do not know where a certain picture came from if it is not mine or public domain. I am working on a script to be able to allow users to upload pictures so that I can properly give them credit. That being said, any additional pics of the M2 are always appreciated ;-)

Also, thank you very much for the corrections to the technical\historical details for the M2 and FZ-35s in your previous post. I updated the information accordingly. See my next message post on this thread for more info.

    A sincere thanks WK.

Thank you very much WK and Borman for the info and feedback - it is truly appreciated. I have added your credits accordingly, with a Special Thanks just prior to the Hands On Review section. The updated M2 page:

    http://www.videogameconsolelibrary.com/pg90-3do2.htm

Borman - let me know if you want me to add your site now or when it is completed to the Links section.

WK - I started to litter the page with footnotes and it started to get crazy (from the info from your original post). This drove me to do the Special Thanks area. Let me know if the credits work well.

If any adjustments need to be made, please shoot me a PM or email (or here in this thread) to let me know.

Though I have this system (FZ-35s), I am having a difficult time writing a hands on review based on the limited software available to me, coupled with my lack of technical/developmental knowledge in the M2 arena. That being said, your assistance (and anyone else's for that matter) is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again all.

    Terry

I can take some new inside and outside pics of my M2 prototype if you need any. Also, if you use the search option at this site you will find a ton of M2 information in old threads.

I think you have a typo in your specs section. Under "Polygons\Sprites" you have "7K per sec \ 1 M per sec" you probably meant something like "1 M per sec \ 700K per sec".

That would be great RPA! As WK pointed out, I am a bit light on pictures and am having to reuse some of them more than I would like. Any pictures you could provide would be awesome and I would definitely give full credit as I have with anyone who has contributed.

WK - YouTube link description updated to "Games That Weren't"
GD - Thanks - definitely a typo. I think I have it corrected now

I have reviewed this forum and you are right - there is a ton of great information here. I don't use any information\pictures without the consent of the respective author (goes without saying). I also respect everyone's privacy and do not want to contact (bug) everyone here in my quest to make a great M2 page for the general community.

    Thanks again for everyone's assistance.

    Hello all.

I updated the page to better display the various contributions from everyone (pic zoom script) and included Timo's new game vids. Hope everyone likes the updates and let me know if you have any suggestions.
