I'm not answering that. That's a stupid question.
There isn't an NDA when signing onto PartnerNet, however you as a developer, or your studio makes an agreement prior to purchasing a console at all, about terms and conditions that should be enough to cover this entire subject.

Also I'm sorry, I'm not trying to flame, but this halo3 guy is painfully stupid, and just talks out of his ass and makes shit up all the time, I really don't know why he's allowed on these forums. At least even the assholes on these forums are a necessary evil to keep idiots in line, or those assholes are intelligent and have something to contribute, but this guy just proves he has no intelligence about anything he opens his mouth in regards to.

I don't mean to be a cock but I really don't think he should be allowed to post here. He doesn't have any questions (and therefore doesn't require assistance), and doesn't answer any too well (because he's not knowledgeable), and just spews crap out of his mouth, and makes claims such as Microsoft being retarded for not knowing how to dispose of their units, when he has no information about said subject at all. Everyone who even attempts to listen to him is just going to get mislead entirely. I don't mind if he's on the site, or anything, but.. why is he here?

Nope. The companies only lease the kit. Anytime Microsoft can demand the kit back which is then passed onto you if they find out you have one regardless of if you have anything from Partnernet on there.

    Retarted lmao. The irony.

First of all you are flamming, second I do ask question and try to learn here and I am flammed look at my thread asking about that name on my pnet profile "Charolette" I asked about that and look what happened. Third ms doesn't dispose of their kits properly they wouldn't need to do brick waves otherwise or have a whole leaking mess on their hands at times. They also wouldn't have needed have needed a whole lot if they just disposed of their kits properly.

Who gives a fuck? Grow up. They don't dispose of kits properly? They ship them overseas for disposal and ruin the fucking ports before doing anything else to them. Do you think they really care if a few kits get out? It's been proven that they can do what they want when they want, so long as the "owner" connects to partnernet.

They also wouldn't have a "whole leaking mess on their hands at times" if your retarded friends at xdk-forums wouldn't be leaking shit they find on pnet. You really need to think things through before you try to try refute.

Not only do they destory the ports they take it open and remove 2 resistors for the ethernet port which all can be repaired, so why waste all the effort when they can just screw it over for good by just running a screw driver across the board? Also don't hold me accountable for xdk-forums, I have not leaked any partner net content ever so why are you yelling at me? Ntm anyone can sign up on the site, I don't own the site, I'm not even a moderator there, I can't be held responcible for it. And again ms wouldn't have any leaking problems at times if they properly disposed of kits.

MS doesn't give two shits about the kits. They do that because it's the law (read), and it's sort of an annoyance for the people intending to steal them. In case you haven't noticed, 99% of the kits that come out of there are shitty Xenons that are going to die soon anyway. Why would MS (or whatever company MS outsources that shit to) waste their own time doing that, when they could let other people do it for them, and for free!

You're also a premium member on that site, hence supporting them ;)

As long as it's contained in this thread, I don't see a problem. It's no secret that the only thing that "public" people do with their dev kits is try to get on partnernet, leak shit, etc. It's not about homebrew.

It may have come off as flaming, but I made it clear, I didn't have intent to flame (I actually have had no personal contact with you, and don't have a problem with you, it's just..), you just simply do not belong here in my eyes, you lie about things flat out over and over, and don't actually know anything about the console, about security, about Microsoft, about anything. And you don't actually contribute to this community at all. If anything you're just more detrimental. That is why I think you should be removed. I don't see the problem with you just having powers to PM people, and viewing the boards, but I'm sorry, I just really don't think you should be allowed to post here. It's just going to cause many arguments over and over because all the shit you post is all bullshit that is made up, and everyone needs to come in here correcting you so the rest of the community doesn't get mislead. I'm pretty sure you just attract the attention here that ASSEMbler wanted to get away from..

And that was one question you asked about Charlotte, and it wasn't anything important at all..

Third(in response to your "third"), you still have no clue what you are talking about so please stop misinforming people on this board.

It's proven they can kill consoles by simply plugging an MEMORY UNIT with a "signed self destruct payload" (CPU fuse blowing code) and turning the unit on, or even upload such a "signed self destruct payload" through network.

Smashing connectors was probably an quick (yet dumb) solution for their problem. They're quite efficient on repairing their mistakes (See the JTAG fiasco, they put their security up to snuff and now it's impossible to be lame on XBL with a JTAG, which is a good thing) or make new JTAG units with existing consoles as the security flaw has been fixed and it's impossible to roll back the systems to the state where they were vulnerable...

They're probably doing that as we speak. And you guys can count on them not committing these mistakes on the next generation units ... :)
