Which doesn't matter, as we established that there was no confusion on sonicdude being called an idiot for having Mac in the link, as he didn't make the web page, therefor it is obvious that when RetroSwim made the comment on the guy in the first link capitalizing every letter of Mac he wasn't referring to sonicdude. I also said. . .

So you once again are having a misunderstanding. Do you see where I said the link that sonicdude literally typed out? Yeah, that is pointing to the fact he wrote "Really? I think not" for his first link, not the actual hyperlink text containing the word "macs". So you pointing that out just reinforces what I said.

You were the only one to have these misunderstandings, just own up to it and stop trying to fight back.

 

Yeah, type in "Really? I think not" in your address bar, let me know what site it takes you to; also, I proved that there is confusion on him calling him an idiot, has nothing to do with who made the web page. I couldn't have been calling sonicdude an idiot, since he didn't write "Mac" in all caps. If there was any ambiguity in the grammar, it vanishes when you look at the context, and apply a little common sense.

These aren't the words of a "calm" person. It's juvenile, vitriolic, patronising, narcissistic, ad hominem nonsense.

If you felt the text was ambiguous, why not simply ask for clarification?

A calm person would have said something like...

"I think you maybe missed a comma? I didn't see him use Mac as an acronym there."
"Did you mean the acronym thing was in the article? Your wording could be misconstrued, possibly."
"I didn't see references to Java or Office in the linked article text, where did you see that?"

A calm person wouldn't have spent their time hurling insults. Belligerent children hurl insults.

As recent AV-TEST tests have shown and as contrafan has remarked, MSE isn't honestly that good. For a free antivirus AVIRA AntiVir or AVG Free are relatively competent alternatives.

The Adblock Plus and Ghostery addons for Firefox help as well to keep malicious software from being downloaded in the first place.
