Thanks for answering my question. Tennokoe Bank cards are relatively inexpensive, so it's not a big deal to pick up one of them instead. That said, I wonder if there would be a way to hack the Tennokoe Bank rom so that it would work with a flash card. Well beyond my abilities, but it would be very cool if this were possible.
Are you aware of how much every single PC-Engine ROM adds up to? Every game should probably fit on a 1GB SD card. 32GB, that's funny.
There's no region protection for the CD-Rom side of things; essentially this is a non issue unless Dandy was wanting to play ISOs off of the SD card, which doesn't fit the hardware profile of the TurboED
Yes, the Turbo EverDrive lacks RAM which would need to be present for the Super CD-ROM Bios to work, and even if you patched the BIOS to read from the SD card the HuCard port doesn't have Stereo Sound input if I recall so if you did try to go that route you'd lose stereo sound for redbook audio. But it may be technically possible for a device to exist that could play PCE CD games off a SD card sometime in the future. But it won't be this Turbo EverDrive.
He can take his time as far as I'm concerned. I just upgraded my HTPC and need to cool my jets for a few months. Then the Turbo Everdrive can rock my world and make me focus on many comparison videos (for which I upgraded my HTPC).
Just a quick check Igor to see whether the reset switch/button will clear the LaserActive PAC's as this is supposedly an issue with the NeoFlash 128 version? Thanking you in advance for your reply.
i don't have laseractive or any other stuff except standard pce and tg16, so i don't test with those systems and don't know how it work
