Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 Has anyone ever heard of that one before ? I've never seen any of those again... How rare is it, what do you think?
hahahahhaha I knew that you would comment on this, I noticed that my legs are on the photo when it was posted....and I was too lazy to make new ones, so fuck that...it's just a leg...or two
is maybe anybody interested in this? since i sold the rest of my MD collection, i don't need this anymore either...maybe for trade, because i need a new gamecube, lol if you're interested, just pm me
maybe i got ripped off, but i bought it from someone i trust, so i don't think it's fake... and also, the upper right chip looks kinda of modified, like it was replaced //edit: btw Legit, doesn't every proto cart look like a standard cart opened somehow?
hehe liquitt - a lot of proto carts looks different on the inside and more importantly they normally arn't adorned by the word 'proto'. It's either prototype, build date or version or other stuff but out of all the prototypes I've owned or seen none used such an abbreviation - it's more of a term used by collectors than developers.
didn't tried it yet, was laying around on the attic and before that it was only in my collection so never used
Can you post a picture of the original cartridge that you have along with the proto cartridge? I'd like to see the space between the control ports. I remember reading a while ago that the early code master J-carts had problems with the control ports being too close to each other. Yakumo
so you want me to proof that the proto is "real" and not made of that retail cart? thx for the trust if that is the case
ouch internals...? i would have to screw the retail one? but the screws are behind the sticker on MD cartridges
I think I have the retail version of the game..I'll check and if so I'll rip it apart for a comparison (shite tennis game anyways)
yeah the game suxx, alright my friend ripped his cart apart, or screwed it and me compared the space between the ports: 1,4cm space between the top of the ports 1,8cm space between the lower part of the ports the only difference seems to be the chip on the upper right of the cart pcb, mine seems replaced or something like that, would be quite interesting though if you would also look into your cart wheelaa
