Picked up a dreamcast... Is it anything special?

    Nope.
    RPG's... Yes, Shmups... Just about (although I love my takumi Shmups and ZG2) but 2D fighters. No! the Dreamcast library in that respect edges out what you can find on the Saturn easily. Better yet, most of the fighting titles offered on Dreamcast are still relevant today.

    The Dreamcast graphics still impress me. Rainbow Cotton looks better than it has any business being

    The DC had some great games, but the Saturn was released in Sega's golden age when they were firing on all cylinders. Most of the Sega games on DC can't hold a candle to the ones on Saturn.

    The Shit game to Good game ratio is higher on the Dreamcast VS The Saturn too.
