Unfortunately there aren't any known fixes for MGH. Use Fonzie's method or you could always desolder/read the ROM the hard way.
Ok, I took back my digio to life to make some checks as i'll update some informations on my website And I figured out two things : - There are two digios class... The HDC0100 which seems to compress the jpeg like garbage (see the included shot, i resized it to 200% without any oversampling and saved in 100% quality jpeg). And the HDC1000X series... which seems to output smoother pictures, like this one http://www.oshokuji.org/esd/19970614/itojun-sj1/sega_019.jpg (i'll have to go back home to confirm, I also have a HDC1000A model). I also figured out that the HDC1000C and HDC1000B cost 3800 more yens than the HDC1000A... The HDC1000B was probably made of "silver" plastic... But I don't have a true confirm except some low-rez pics of it. And the HDC1000C... No idea... Maybe another plastic color or even another shape? ... I saw a picture of a digio that did not looked like a digio, maybe it was an error... Any idea? Thank you BTW : My picture magic tablet seems to have "dried", the tablet is less and less sensitive :'( ... BTW : I've dumped the picture magic cartridge one year ago, see : http://www.genny4ever.net/index.php?page=stuff for more infos.
I have one, www.segacollection.com/specials/obsi.htm for pictures. Probably was the last time it came out of the cupboard :110:
Ok, seems you have the HDC1000A model too... haha Nobody have a mighty HDC1000B or 1000C ? Btw : I opened one digio. It have a ROM, two video controllers chipsets (one to control the sensor, the other one to convert the sensor's signals), one sony screen & screen controller, bunch of generic electronic things and a crazy shielded part I couldn't open... I suspect it contains a Z80 + RAM, the true power of SMS. Fortunately for my digio, it will have some usage... And it's thx to the very strange picture quality ^^
I have one too, but never used it, have the windows / serial cable and software too. It's a funky Saturn coloured camera though.
