Pier Solar HD - Not playing on GDEMU

Seems it backups just fine with CloneCD ripped with RAW settings. Isn't gonna help GDEmu users or DC-USB users at least not in the CCD file container.

 

in the net popped CCD images of this game and GhostBlade. anyone burned it and tested, is it really works ?

 

found them,gona test them both later,will let a message here.
the game starts,but resets,strange.
intro plays fine,gona test more.
maybe something went wrong conversion.
gona try also other sdcard.
tryed other sdcard,not working,ghostblade plays intro fine till hucast,then resets.
after i read full thread,i gona stop testing,its protection or bad rip maybe

 

GDEMU does support CCD and MDS/MDF. That doesn't mean the PierSolar dumps found online will work on it though.

 

im curious if they work if you burn them.

ok,if you burn the images,and they work,then normally they must work fine with gdemu also.
deunan mailed me that copy protected games dont work on gdemu.
maybe in the future.

 

does anyone have a list of copy protected games? rush rush rally racing MDS/MDF wont work on my gdemu, maybe because of protection?

• CCD and CDI images with multiple track indexes are no longer rejected
• Added subchannel scanning for MCN/ISRC data (can be disabled in INI file)

i just seen this aswell. does the subchannel scanning mean that protected games with subchannel data can now be played?

 

I'm not sure but now my converted .CDI works.

the only known for me *really* copy protected games is Sturmwind and Bleemcast.

Pier Solar as well as Ghost Blade requires correct original Media Catalog Number (MCN) set for these disks.
nothing else needed for it's functioning, including original subcodes. so I can't call it really protected from being copied.

 

While sturmwind does work on gdemu, BC! doesn't, does that fix allow it to boot?

 

what you mean ? afaik original non-cracked game doesn't work on gd-emu.

 

ghost blade working now then guys? if so i will need to upgrade my firmware which i have not done before but it sounds easy enough. the only thin which i don't get ubout the update info is "Move the write protect tab at the side of the card to “Lock” position" what tab is this? i did not see any tab.
any tips would be great

 

There's a cracked version that works. But even cracked bleemcast doesn't.

i see i have this tab on a sandisk extreme card. never noticed the tab because i never looked for it lol. thanks S4pph4rad for the info.
still wondering how testing has gone for ghost blade guys? i heard some bad things about the games performance but i would like to give it a try cos it looks pretty good slowdown or not.
i'm not so bothered about pier solar as i purchased it from psn, but if it's working i might aswell add the image to my dreamcast collection.
