In the Fami-complete book there are some hibaihin games missing too. Sometimes I doubt if they exist so I can understand with what you say about the other games not being in the Mega Drive book. I guess Itchy & Scratchy and Warlock exist in some form. I think I just need to find out for myself now.
Very interesting. As you say people have different ideas of what they deem to be a full set. Personally if its an md cart I want it, regardless of whether it was for sale or not. As for the Smisey explanation..that was a japanese friend not me who said that (credit where its due) As for Tetris, I wouldn't expect to see it in the Segahard as it was not officially release (as I'm sure you know). Also I believe Sumitomo and Nagoya carts were not available for sale but just given to customers who could use them. I'm not sure of that though but will try and confirm it. Nagoya doesn't have a cat no either. Edit..also do you know if there are any Flashpoint carts in existence?
Sure but that's the problem :-/ Because this game is a bit particular,I mean it's neither a prototype, nor an "official" hibaihin, nor a released game, nor a sample....And you can't be sure of the "reality" of the usual history of Tetris MD.It's always said that the game has been released and then removed from the shops because of copyright issues...But who knows? Sega has never spoken about this and there is no official confirmation of the truth of this story.Maybe it's bullshit and few pirates copies have been made. And it's the problem because are you ready to pay 200000 yens for a copy of a Tetris MD which is maybe a total hoax?I mean it's ok to pay a big price for this but not such a price. I've never seen a copy of Flash point MD,and never heard of anybody who has it.It seems that Japanese people don't know much more about it...Something odd is the presentation of Sega ages 2500 series vol28 for playstation 2 in the japanese website of Sega, because they speak of the Megadrive version of Flash Point :-/
Owning both of them (Mega Anser & Nagoya) i agree that they have same "manual" Nagoya complete copy is 100000 yens worth...i heard Sumisei was sold for 130000 to that collector. Never saw Mega Anser for sale except mine, neither Nagoya in COMPLETE form. About Warlock, Flashpoint or Itchy & Scratchy they do not exist...unless prototype loose carts...and they're yet to be found! This is not because you see them in retail shops buying lists that they do exist ( as an example Cosmic Yakyuuhen for PCE SCD is on those lists for more than a decade, and nobody ever saw one,not even one pic! )
we all know the dark side of money has gained the hobby. but it's pure shame to see Palcom systems from italian/spanish sellers (greedy ones) at around 1200$ in ebay !! and figuring they certainly came from the big stock "Beep shop" has found past year..
