Pretty cool. Is that thing a 16:9 widescreen?

I'm not really big on laserdisc even though I am a film buff, but I have to admit it would be pretty sweet to own that. Now if that is a widescreen then why weren't they making more crt's with dvd players built in like that?

Damn, that's ultra cool! Laserdisc + WidescreenTV!

Looked for info on the model, but still haven't found nothing about it.

Not even the wiki has info on it:

That is so cool! I'd love to have one of those, but I fear what the shipping on that beast would come to...

I couldn't find anything online about it either.

It's 42 KG.....can't be shipped from Japan unless you use a special (expensive) service. :)

Very nice indeed. And it seems to be going for a very cheap price. If it was RGB compatible via the 21pin (Scart) I'd buy that in a flash!

Yes it does but that's still not anywhere near as good as real RGB :( I hate the lack of RGB TVs in NTSC areas. It's the only thing we from the PAL lands can actually be proud about. What makes it worse in Japan is that at one point it was standard, so much so that SFC and Saturn had official cables in Japan.:-(

Wow, that is incredible. I never knew they'd produced a TV with LD in-built!

I owned a 17" crt tv/VHS combi years ago and currently own and use in my room a 28* crt tv/dvd combi but i've never seen any tv with built in LD player and i'd have never thought there would be one but there is.

I could go out today and buy a RGB capable TV quite easily and for less then Y10,000. Athough 21 pin RGB is quite hard to find (mainly as most second hand shops won't sell older TVs), a lot of late 90s and early to mid 2000s CRT Sony TVs do have a Game port on the TV, eagle eyed people will notice that this is the same connector as the Playstation AV port and it is and look it supports RGB...

You can buy adaptors quite easily too...

Well here in the U.S. there are tvs that do rgb, only problem is they are broadcast monitors which are pricey and a pain to get a hold of. I mean I could get some off ebay, but the shipping is what kills it.

Oh man if this thing also fitted those Sega and Nec addons it would be a bitch to collect them! allthough those famicom/tv combos and dreamcast/tv combos also got imported eventually.

They made a TV with a TV in it back in the day, old school picture in picture, it literally had a small tv next to the big one.

Pioneer made an all in one home theater with one of the first surround amps,
and a sega SG computer with a LD-rom player. It's called the pioneer S.E.E.D. and I'd give my left nut for one.
