Hi everyone, I have recently came across a Zelda OOT NOT FOR RESALE Demo Cart. As far as I can tell its from a Kisok back in the day. The label on the front has a scratched out spot where it used to say not for resale and someone like
tried to remove that bit. otherwise the cart is in good shape with a long series of digits stamped on the back in black. I am curious as to what this might be worth seeing as its a zelda item. I checked Ebay and saw a couple for the DS version of spirit tracks. Anyone ever seen one of these sell before? Thanks!

I would assume it's worth what the retail carts are worth since just about all NOT FOR RESALE carts are just 1:1 copy's. As im not an expert though you might want to wait for someone with the know all to answer. Nice item none the less.

Should be a demo, unless Zelda had two carts. If its the us one, 30-75 is fair

No, there were different cartridges for every region, and even then, there were major differences that there was no way to distinquish upon just by looking at the cartridge or even the packaging. For example, at E3 booths debug consoles are used, so cartridges from those shouldn't be able to be played on a retail, but there is a European variant and an american cartridge used to demo the game that is different from the one in-store. Also, there are different cartridges in-stores because some stores had cartridges without changes that were in the final game, and some stores got demo cartridges, with the full complete, released game but with a time limiter added, later on.

It's hard to understand what someone means by "Rare" or "Not for Resale", because Rare could be any cartridge to be honest, and most things are stolen from game kiosks, either by theives or the GameStop employess (also theives) so please specify what version you want, preferably with a brief description

I'd say good solid $75 if its one of those e3 demo carts or if it has anything "significantly" different on it. Otherwise if its just like the retail version Its about $30~40.
