    What can I say?

Tearing the cart out often made no difference, but it did seem to greatly increase the odds of my records being erased at random. I used to lose everything every few months. Ever since I started using the eject button exclusively, I've somehow been able to preserve records for over a decade.

Be as snarky or doubtful as you need to be, folks. Whatever helps you get through the day.

American games in the later half of 1993 changed the cart shape to allow it.
I don't know which console revisions lack the mechanism itself.

Does anyone know if the Adapter used by SaturnHST works with Super Mario RPG? I want to play the US version of the game on a Japanese Super Famicom.

    Many thanks in advance!

The SNES Jr./2 doesn't have the eject mechanism.

Hello everyone! I got two adapters. The white one is directly from Korea and I tested it. Every game is working. The Caesar adaptor still waits for tests. adaptor.JPG C03vQBXW8AAToqv.jpg

    UPDATE:
Korean adaptor works with every USA/ JAPAN game while Caesar handles only games with standard PCB connectors (for example Mario RPG won't fit into).

I think I sold this to you!

Glad it worked, and glad Assembler is back up so we can talk about esoteric stuff like this again!
