playing usa carts on a japanese super famicom

    Dedicated NTSC import adapters are less common than the type popular in Europe. They'll have just one slot, not needing to bypass the CIC.

    you could get a game genie and use it as a pass through .They are available in pal shaped carts but if you cant find one you could get a US version and either remove its shell or cut it, they are regionless btw

    I emailed the maker of the retrode for the cart connector he used because I am now having to use a super famicom. I at first thought my super gameboy was broken but when I tested it on my fc16 go it worked flawless. After spending 2 day working on my snes I have thrown in the towel and ordered a super famicom( gonna give it a super cic and component video). So Yah I am in the same boat.
