I've had this in my possession for well over 4 years (Friend gave it to me), but I've never really thought about researching anything about it until now..

I have some pictures of it, which I'll post here.

Here's the serial number, if that'll help any.

Sorry for the random dark spot, my camera can be pretty wonky at times. The serial at the end reads "DECHA00A"

The system also seems to have been manufactured at what I can read as "October 2006"

If you guys need any more pictures, I'm more than willing to put some more up.

Yeah I've turned it on and it does work, I tested a couple of games, one being PS3 and the other being a PS2 one, and both seemed to have booted fine, but that's pretty interesting!

Thats on the VERY VERY low end for a PS3 Test, This is a DECHA00A which has the native PS2 backwards compatibility which people want. I didn't really see any major scratches in any of the pictures so it seems to be in pretty good condition besides the back sticker so I would say its much closer to the $250-300 range area than the $100-150 range, I don't exactly keep fully up to date in sales of these (Only sometimes check the sold price on ebay) though so someone else should correct me if I'm wrong.

Since it's a tad beat up you could probably get 350 at most for it. 300 if you don't want to maximize profits.
400-450 is usually the going price (though as more appear, said number goes down - dont listen to the ebay people)

Speaking of which that's also the nicest Test model to have so good job!

Posting to agree with the $350 range but only as long as it is in no danger of YLOD.

$299-350 depending on how messed up the scratching is on the shell

Paid 250$ for my PS3 Slim Debugging Station, but since yours have backwards compatibility for PS2 games, it might be worth more.

The only time that a DECHA has "no danger of YLOD" is if you never turn it on. Personally, I don't consider the PS2 backward compatibility to be an adequate tradeoff for the hugely inferior reliability of those first generation machines.

    EASILY 350 USD
Look at sold prices on eBay, they can even sell for double.
I've probably sold at least 10 of these over the last few years.
I've got 5 in storage, but if you're going to give this away for 100usd, I'll happily make that 6.......
