    I was at goodwill yesterday and I found and purchased this PS4 prototype controller.

    I'm not looking to sell this or anything so I hope it isn't against any of the rules, I just wanted to know what kind of price range it would be in as I haven't seen one for sale yet.
    I just remembered I forgot to mention that the controller works atleast it worked as a controller for my PS3 and computer and it seemed like everything I could use worked.

    Sadly I dont think there is a set rate since I havent seen one sell yet. If you were to sell, which I know you said you aren't, it all comes down to who sees it and how much they want to spend. Im glad they are starting to get out though, it is near the top of things that I would love to have

    Yeah thats what I mostly assumed, it's not like i'm 100% against selling it or anything I would probably prefer to do a trade or something.

    I also forgot to mention I dont think the controller has a battery in it when I use DS4tool to use it on my computer it shows the battery at "-160%".

    A picture of the tops buttons (L1,R1,L2,R2) and the back of the controller please. We are most curious crowd here. =)

    The d-pad is different.

    The microphone vent is different.

    Headphone jack is different.

    Front face is not elevated on the d-pad or button side.


    I would say it's worth since ps4 is so new, $300 on a lucky day, $150 on a normal day.

    LOL, this is not prototype controller, just the DEV controller what comes with any PS4 Developement KIT, from the first DVKT-KS000K to latest DUH-D1000A.
    Maybe this is one of the FIRST series released, and was not already build in DEV packages, so called proto, but over the sticker is the same as the developers controllers, still a good thing for collection :D ...and I am missing it for my device.

    From what I seen few months ago, yes... developers still have that type of controller, not sure if everyone.
