Now you guys are just slapping us in the face. Next we'll see a hybrid Xbox/ PS2/ Dreamcast/ N64 combo...
While we're looking at failed prototypes, here's one I got a hold of. Be warned, it is a huge system. It can play sega Genesis, Sega CD X2, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 1, and Xbox games. It was the near ultimate hybrid of 1985. It even came with 2 controllers that had screens built in, 2 USB keyboards one of which even has a track pad mouse, and a massive joystick. I love playing my PC games on it. Oh and it even has a flashcart on the Sega Genesis port to allow playing of ANY game for ANY system on this thing. It was the first console free cart ever made. Unreleased as of 2031.
I think it failed from dust. Circuit boards don't like dust/dirt , clean it up it work work for sure!
It was scrapped due to it's high price. It has a "retina display" very similar to the iPhone's. In fact, they sold the technology to Apple who put it on the back burner for years until the production price went down enough to make it commercially viable as a consumer product.
no problem to make some kind of "bridge" for interconnecting beetwen one console to another. just need the aim and time)))
Hahaha, I'd hate to imagine the amount of cables and power outlets required just to run the damn thing!
