old chip.jpg there is the new install, kynar just worked better on this chip board i guess, i always got pic's working, this thing had one 1 wire wrong and indeed it works better now, but i think its more because of the kynar, to points where well connetected, they where messy but solid

MM3 it's useless for 100X series. Mayumi it's the same of mm. MM are copy paste of mayumi code, but have one wire less because uses int osc of the pic (the stupid marketing slogan of psx era: less wire, more complex and better chip. That's absolutely not true). Mayumi V1 and MM 2.2 are the same code.
Now the install it's better. Not because you used the kynar, but because i don't see cold joint and cable don't short the pin each others.
What's the problem? appairs the screen PLEASE INSERT PLAYSTATION DISC?

EDIT:eek:k I see you resolved. good. But, really, trow avay that shit :)

today the console gave up on me, appears the VIA broke off, i cant help that, theu guy i bought it from (online) send me this ruined motherboard, it just appeared (i'm certain) that there was a modchip inside, and removed, badly. modchip solder points where taken off, looked like someone grabbed the chipped and pulled it off, the lens was dead, yeah likes that's the end of the story.. to bad lost all my money, but i allready bough another scph-1000..

I dont think you can blame him, when you have posted pics of your first install.

I suspect its entirely down to your soldering, dont blame someone else. You messed with it, now it doesnt work.

Vias dont just fall off it was probably damaged by either you or the original owner, former being more likely, none the less its fairly easy to fix just find the corresponding via on the top of the board and bridge it to whats left of the trace, or just follow the traces to see if there connect to pins or pads you can use instead and do the same.

well your wrong, why would i ly? i you look at te pictures you could see that i used a via, and not the standart solder point that diagrams say you have to solder to, why did i do this just like i said when i got it that way then thats that. the via broke because i repaced the chip and maby i solderd to much on that little via , yes thats my fault but that the standaart solder point was missing thats not my fault, when i got the board i 'had send a pm to Jinn if i could solder to that via, later i replaced that chip with a another chip, i asked him for info about the chip, he told me i was better off making a thread about it so i did. so ask him i you dont believe me
