URA zelda wasnt just going to be upgraded textures etc like master quest is, doesnt it seem odd to you guys that they wouldnt re-release the game with slightly nicer textures and harder but add nothing. the clincher with ura zelda was the persistent gameworld. miyamoto stated this in ONM ages ago. the idea was that everything you did was recorded and that the world evolved accordingly. if you cut a sign in half you couldnt read it again was the example given and there were to be features based around this to add to the game. i dont know however at what stage this idea was, if at all, abandoned. it could be that it was in the virtually finished 64dd version they had running, it may have been abandoned in development as too amitious.
URA Zelda = Japanese name for Master Quest... I get what you're saying though... was just a bit confused.
