Unless you have a very close friend who can get you a legit box
and keep it on the active list all reclaimed or stolen units will be
    banned eventually.

People who are not yet banned are probably safe due to shoddy record
keeping at the place it came from.

Yeah kinda like the leaked shit in your signature, wonder where half that came from.. eh? :/

And since when does ASSEMbler approve of people freely posting links to warez out in the open..? I know alot of companies that wouldn't be too happy if crap like that were to happen like that regularly here..

    http://www.google.ca/m/search?oe=UT...ite:assemblergames.com+lllsondowlll.myftp.org

Just isn't smart to bring attention like that here..

I was able to get around this ban wave despite being logged into PNET when it was happening (though maybe I missed their wave by a day or so).

I'm still on 9328 since I'm too lazy to backup my stuff to update, though. I don't think they even care about us anymore because we can no longer access or download from the Marketplace (at least not through any direct means).

And yeah, f**k the people that kept leaking games off of there. They got their 15 minutes of fame, but only at the cost of making PNET dry of new and interesting content. :/

Ignorance is bliss. There is only 3 things from that server that is from partnernet full games which have already been released the only PNet games on there are debug XBLA games that I chose to backup early LAST year that was leaked by gamecheat off my original server (more on this further down) everything else was uploaded by other people I worked with in the past that is NOT from PNet. Anyone who has been on this forum knows I allow uploading for releases and archiving. If you need a reminder of this think of the Gamecheat indecent as reference when he ran off with a bunch of shit off my server and I bricked his kit. Also I got permission from Assembler to place it in my signature since a prototype isn't considered traditional wares let alone unfinished games are called "abandonware" which is also allowed but it never showed up so I dropped the chance of a public release and instead messaged select members on assembler games of my choosing with the link. Also I allowed the private beta to be placed on the server under the current condition it was leaked 6 months ago and being sold and whored I chose not to remove it as I carry a no censorship policy of releases as it was a wide leak from previous owner GMAN who received it from xenon.7. Not to mention this is WAY offtopic and has resulted into trolling. I've said my peace.

    |||sondow|||, I wonder why you bother to have such private intellectual property hosted on that FTP, it'd be a shame if an official took the time to have it investigated and traced back to you..

And you are allowed? Want to tell us which government act actually covers you for stealing and encouraging distribution of code?

There is no govt act, these games only run on development kits and all but forza 2 are incomplete prototype games and I already released Forza 2 not to long ago. Incase you guys haven't noticed this website is full of prototype games and collectors everyone who is and has taken a little risk. IMO sharing of prototypes of already released games usually doesn't concern anyone but Nintendo mostly as the developers and companies are still making money off the full games and I doubt they care about prototype games that only run on Devkits. Assemblergames is a place for proto trading, releases, and archiving for collectors some people lost track of that I guess in the XeDK thread where all people talk about is partnernet and hacking. I shut my server down yesterday anyway just as I announced I would. We are completely off topic here. If anyone would like to discuss it further with me please hit me up in PM I will discuss the situation further.

It doesn't matter if they only run on devkits or not, technically they are still Intellectual Property.

I don't see the point in derailing a thread to state your opinion off what you think of 100% of the proto traders and collectors on this site >_>

I think what they're trying to say is that there is a big difference between trading things you're not supposed to have from last generation, and trading things you're not supposed to have from this generation.

It's why you won't find current-gen SDKs on these forums.

SDK's are irrelevant when it comes to proto trading, under the circumstances the SDK's and Recoveries were already leaked over at the china forums so it was an a okay thing to put on my server which is not hosted AT assemblergames so they bare no legal obligation. That and there is plenty of current gen titles that have been released and traded on this site. If Assembler had a problem he would have told me WAY earlier when we spoke on Messenger about the idea of posting an FTP here, there was no discussion during which he objected. That being said all statements that have been made here hold no ground and only serves to derail a perfectly good topic and attract trolls. Hit me up in PM if you would like to discuss it further.

No to sound harsh, but since when spreading leaked software is anything near "okay" ? (especially one that's still under licensing and isn't anything like an unreleased game)

lllsondowlll I rarely venture into this part of the boards but whatever you were discussing with ASSEMbler outside of the boards is a private matter and a separate business.

Within the boards current and next gen SDK downloads are forbidden as are up and coming games or warez of retail titles. Sharing partnernet titles is just plain stupid too. Got that?

Of course people are going to be greatful if you are willing to host and share out the contents of the file downloads section, but if your FTP contains items forbidden via direct or indirect linking, your FTP link will be removed and if you reinstate it without removing the offending items you'll probably get slapped too. As your link is dead at the minute I cannot confirm or deny if you have any offending items, but if you do - I don't give a shit who leaked the items, if they are linked to from here either the link or the content needs to be removed. This is currently non-negotiable but up for debate in the approapriate section (not here)

Anyhow, I wish you the best of luck and hope your FTP makes you and others happy.
