Pokemon Leaf Green Engrish

Hopefully the mass amounts of pics dont break any site rules (I tried to put the screenshots into spoilers but it wasn't working). I dont plan on taking screenshots of every last conversation because it would take too long and be too much to have to scroll through I just felt like including all of the opening.

However I do plan on taking screenshots of note worthy text as i come across it.

Has anyone else came across a copy of this translation? I know someone metioned a Emerald translation earlier I was wondering if someone else has one of these stand alone or in a multicart.

EDIT: In the last few pictures the play time changes because I had to resave to get some of the auto switching text

The batteries were only used to track what time it is in the game (internal clock) But only Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald used that feature out of the gameboy advance games for pokemon. Other then keeping time the batteries did nothing, saves were held into the sram for gba games.

 

maybe that could be why it wont dump properly or part of a copy protection

 

I'd advise you to just record video instead of taking pictures

 

yeah I thought about it but would have to make a setup for it and if I do a lot of text at once I probally will but I do wanna try to dump it if I can find anything that can get past the protection without having to mess with the pcb board

ive tried Ruldolps GBA Backup Tool v0.21 but it doesn't recognize it probally because none of my ds lite can even play it

 

Do you happen to have a Game Boy Advance to GameCube link cable and a softmodded Wii with GameCube ports? If you do, then you should use this:

Do Pokemon games have swearing in them? like if any of the Pokemon games got a legit fan translation (no errors or make up stuff) and not fake/machine translated? I've been always curious about script changes from the official translation of first party Nintendo games in comparison to it's Japanese original script
