I recently received these from a friend and was wondering if anyone might have an idea of what these are/used for.[GALLERY=media, 2276]IMG_5047 by Cat man posted Sep 17, 2017 at 2:07 PM[/GALLERY] The flash cart seems pretty obvious. Seems like it's used to flash gba games too. The cart won't fit into my DS so I ordered an original gba online to hopefully see if anything was left on the cart. The AGB-parallel interface cartridge is pretty interesting. I can't find any info online about it. Here's some photos of the cart on a DS. It just goes to a title screen and if I hold B, I can move the screen around. Here's some photos of it. Let me know if you have any information on these items. Thanks [GALLERY=media, 2277]IMG_5051 by Cat man posted Sep 17, 2017 at 2:07 PM[/GALLERY] [GALLERY=media, 2278]IMG_5052 by Cat man posted Sep 17, 2017 at 2:07 PM[/GALLERY] [GALLERY=media, 2279]IMG_5053 by Cat man posted Sep 17, 2017 at 2:07 PM[/GALLERY] [GALLERY=media, 2280]IMG_5054 by Cat man posted Sep 17, 2017 at 2:07 PM[/GALLERY]
Looks like an AGB-PIC used for connecting a gameboy advance to a PC using IS-AGB-CHARACTER (P) for displaying graphics in real time, used by graphic designers
Flash Cart was available to everyone, but some developers did use it for development since it was cheaper. Wont know until you try (or dump the cart and see if the file is different). Pretty sure the second one is is a sample tool.
If I'm not mistaken the interface cartridge is part of the Intelligent Systems Wideboy systems(or their capture devices). I think that portion allows you to use the Gameboy as the controller (also sends video and sound to it).
I did buy these off the same guy. I'm pretty sure these can be used for the wideboy and capture units. He got all the items from a electric recycle bin. Someone tossed all the stuff into it. Im thinking of possibly sending some of those stuff into Hard4games YouTube channel and see if they would be interested in reviewing it.
These items cant really do anything by themselves. The AGB-PIC needs the proper software which I haven't yet seen leaked online and the controllers are for the AGB/CGB emulators
