I`m not sure if the scph-1010 was released outside japan.
To my knowledge they were replaced by the 1080 when the US scph-1001 was released.

    Found one ?

The scph-1010 also has a shorter cable and no noise reductor.
Its said that the 1080 is bigger and has a longer cable because americans are bigger people with bigger houses.

What do they need a headphone pre-amp for at a small venue like that? If it's for the engineer on desk he should be using his own ears and if it's for a member of the band tell them not to be such a blooming ponce and just rig up a monitor closer to that person.

Sheeesh - musicians get more demanding all the time!

    lol @ Parris.

It was a smallish event that they were trying to reduce the noise from the stage to an absolute minimum as the neighbours of th ebuilding keep complaining...

needless to say, they fixed the problem.. they were trying to run 3 inear monitors from 1 feed which was cutting the output level each time.. when i returned, they had unplugged mine (Rhythm Guitar) i had NO foldback for the event last night and the other two (Bass & Lead) did (albeit at a halved level)...

I ended up just having one earpiece in as i wasnt allowed an Amp and they had DI'd my Guitar through my GT8 effects unit so i couldent even hear myself without that.. the rest of theband i just had to judge and wait for the sound to bounce back from the Front of House speakers!

    Oh what JOY!

    Fantastatic Festerfly trade!

Hey, Uncle Fester has come up trumps with a stunning deal!

£20.00 for a DC (PAL), and 1 DC controller, PSone (PAL), with leads and 2 x controllers plus memory card (3rd party) AND a pair of newish PS2 controllers (dual shock / black).

He bunged in an extra free gift of a Sony DTL-H800 digital audio development card (PCi) - my first piece of the actual PS1 Development system - I MUST obtain the rest soon!

plus an extra £10.00 for the Playstation 2 Tool development manuals (complete), 6th Edition - still in their packaging... unopened.

Many thanks to UF for this deal :)

    yep..

i ended up also 'feeling' the kick drum for a beat and watching the lead singers lips to work out exactly where i was going next and where abouts we were taking into account the FOH speakers had a 1/2 sec delay! :banghead:

The parcel? Your more then welcome.. more a deal for you etc as you have helped me out soo much in the time i have been here. And the fact that it was delayed for a while.. Did a similar thing for Andy too... :icon_bigg

Oh and i was just about to check that you got the parcel okay...

It's been a while since I've posted in this thread but that doesn't mean I haven't bought anything... :) I'll probably just post monthly, unless I get something really exciting. So here we go. Basically just a bunch of games.

    Xbox 360

As you can see I've added a healthy amount of 360 games to my collection since I got my Elite.

Call of Duty 2 (GotY Edition)
    PGR3 (Platinum Hits)
    Fight Night Round 3
    Crackdown
    Halo 3
    Ninety-Nine Nights
    World Series of Poker
    Gears of War
    Lost Planet
    Madden '08
    Viva Piñata

    PS2 and PS1

Shadow of the Colossus - I just had to buy this.

I'm working on owning every Playstation DDR game. Including Japanese releases. So, if you have any leads...

    DDR MAX
    DDR MAX 2
    Dance Dance Revolution NTSC-J
Dance Dance Revolution Append Club Version Vol. 1 NTSC-J

    Xbox

Eh, the most notable here, a sealed copy of Metal Wolf Chaos.

    Dreamcast

Some random DC games... slowly but surely reaching my goal of obtaining every US release.

    DS

Jam Sessions - This game rocks. I've digusted a few of my friends already by showing up to their jam session and plugging my DS into an amp and playing along with them.

So, that's about it. For now. This is officially my longest post. :icon_bigg
