The collection is coming along nicely I see, how many Xbox games do you have and how many are promos?

currently own appox 200 xbox games, few duplicates etc from lanparty days, plus a few debugs / protos / unreleased material etc. although did have a lot more up until last year when i sold a large amount of my collection off

as for promos, not many as only been buying the past couple of weeks, but so far have 10, and awaiting delivery on another 8 more

also my collection of oxm discs is pretty much complete, and am gradually building up my collection of peripherals and controllers etc.

sadly i might be selling off some of the rarer items inc. some of my LE consoles to raise funds in the next few weeks / months

Due to the game being lose and the memory card right next to it at the first sign it looked like a Prototype/Beta PS2 game with the according dongle :p

I guess you would have prefered to find that too, heh.

Also all my 360 games bar the legendary HALO 3 are all promo`s

See the latest addition above

Missed a Halo 3 one the other week as well

Nice find, liquitt. It seems to be in good shape as well. Have you booted it up yet?

well today on the advice of another AG member i stopped off at our local 'Cash Convertors' store.....

I picked up a couple of games in their Half Price section

Metal Gear Solid 2 - Sons of Loiberty (PS2)
    Halo 2 - (XBOX)

5 UKP for the pair! (sorry got no Pound sign on this comp for some reason!)

Also, while i was in there i asked about faulty consoles and what their policy is with them. the first chap said that they send them off to another divisoin for repair but it would be best to check with the senior chap at the back.. so i went down to the desk and posed the same question to be met with a far better reply!

"oh yes, we weigh them in with a local scrappie/odds and sods person"..

"How much do you roughly get?" i asked..

Around 50pence per unit usually he said.........

which units? Xbox, PS2, PS1, anything really he came back with....

So i said i would be intersted in buying them for spares/repairs purposes and this seemed to please the chap no end.. so much so that i came away with 3 xbox's & 2 PS2's for 15 pounds! e then asked me if i did 360's and PSP's.. to whichi replied i hadnt yet but would give anything a go and he said okay complete 360's are 25-30 pounds and the PSP's are a simlar price.. subject to quantity on all of it..

I went back a couple of hours later with teh car to collect and the chap said that it was a perfect setup as they wanted a bit extra cash and they felt bad about just 'scrapping' them!!!! I asked how frequently i should hear from them and he said most definately a once a week if not more!!

I am now their new & only 'faulty' console buyer!!!

    Im loving it!

    Lol

Ahh I love being back in Japan. :)

Galaxy Force II - A great little game, although they missed a trick by not having the FM Towns version. (They have the Megadrive and Master System versions), Wangan Midnight - Looks a great game, need to play it more. Suchie Pai 3 - Non Hentai version of the hentai PC game.

Suchie Pai 4 LE version. Comes with a figure, a outer sleeve box, a little booklet with sketches, the game, a non hentai art collection disc and the version I bought came with some definately not going to be shown picture postcards.

I've been having some excellent luck the past few weeks. First I got all these:

Some excellent, hard to find games. Unfortunately, most of them are Mac. Ah well. Got the Riven Soundtracks too :)

    Then:

An original Apple IIc computer, complete with a load of software, most of it educational from this Kip McGrath place, like Mathematic tutorials and the like.

    Then:

A Commodore 64 with a huge amount of games, two disk drives and all in working order! :)

    and then THIS weekend:

An Amiga! I have one already but this one came with a second disk drive and a bunch of games. Strangely, not the major games I *WANT* though, like Super Frog or Mr. Nutz or other weird platformers :(

I also got Monkey Island for Amiga, but unfortunately missing the password system and the 4th disk :(

    BUT THEN:

    PC versions! Bargains too! :)
