I thought about hoarding them when Amazon set the price on 10EUR (its on 19 again btw), but I refused as I already own one and its going to become electronic garbage anyway ^.^

 

You have Dixons in Holland? Wow, I thought it was a UK only chain. Looks like you learn something every day. I've only ever bought 2 things from Dixons that were the 2nd version of the Sharp portable MD front loader player/recorder (Still works all these 13 years later) and a pack of blank TDK video tapes :dance:

Yep atleast within the netherlands.
The dixons i got it from thought it was still at 50 euros but when they scan it it will pop up as 9,90
They are clearing them out of their collection.

That's a very nice game you have there, dj898. I was about 12 hours or so in to deSPIRIA at one point until I lost the VMU with the save data on it. Or more likely my wife put it somewhere :banghead:

Well HMV called me this afternoon and my Band In A Box arrived this afternoon, but they couldn`t sell it to me until tomorrow...

 

ll I collect it this morning, what a bloody big box

I originally just ordered the kit as could get the game later quite easy

But they ended up doing quite a good

Kit, game and 2100 points £150, so not to bad

Also some other sad git was buying/collecting his as well so managed to mug him for the points on my game card so, still have another £20 in credits etc to use

So all in all not a bad day

I remember reading about it in mags and hoping it would get a U.S. release. Sadly it didn't. From seeing some youtube videos it looks interesting.

 

Juushinden finally turned up. pretty good game & now the hunt for booster packs starts lol

 

Got me a cheap PS2, unfortantly seems to have disc read error some times. Anyone got any ideas to fix this? Would it help to open it up and clean it?

 

I fixed a couple off ps2`s by cleaning just the lens with a q-tip and alcohol, that way you dont have to open it.
If that doesnt help try opening the drive and check if the rails are still greased.
If that doesnt work you should replace the laser unit.

Edit : adjusting the pots will help but usually just temporarily.

 

Took the whole thing apart and cleaned it, didn't help unfortantly, so I follomed a guide on fixing this that told me to try adjusting lens level by turning the white thingy on the disc tray. Did the trick :thumbsup:

Dorikara seems to be the project name for the karaoke addon. "B" is just cruel.
