@jdc98 - yeah, send over a mint Sfuper Famicom via EMS speed post with insurance will cost about 40 pounds. Getting a mint SFC will probably cost you about 50 or more these days :(

EDIT, thread made in to a sticky

I may be mistaken but wasnt the last thread part VI (6) and now this is part V (5), Is it going down on purpose or was the earlier thread named slightly wrong.

Didn't buy a Wii for Resident Evil Umbrealla Chronicles today 'cause they aren't any freaking one in the UK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One guy tried to sell me one for £350 with 7 crap games...unbelievable  . Had the whole year to buy one :banghead: and now I want one just before Christmas

Damn faulty 360... still got 2 gig of ram DDR2 667 today for £34...so exciting...

CEX (computer exchange) seem to have quite a few at £250 with no games unboxed which is extortionate. feel sorry for all the parents this Chrimbo clambering to get their hands on one.

Wow I just checked the prices on Wiis in the UK. Nothing below 300 pounds?! That is insane. Amazon Germany has Wiis instock and sells them for around 170 Pounds (converted from Euros) or from third party sellers starting at like 150. That is crazy.

This is getting ridiculous, I am that close to get a PS3...just kidding...but Sony must be really jealous about the whole situation...

If Resident Evil was not on Wii then I wouldn't care that much, they had a year to fix their production problems, this whole out of stock bulls... is just too convenient...

Thanks for the info Yakumo - much appreciated! £90-£100 for a minty SFC delivered is not too too bad, but I'm going to keep an eye open on ebay for the time being.

If I have no joy in the next month or so, is it ok if I drop you a PM to see what you can source from your side of the globe? Ideally I'd like to get hold of a machine and a decent library of games, but I guess it's all about the £££ right?

I may be in touch in due course if it's not too much trouble mate?

You cannot find them in the UK. My local retailer is importing them from Germany and charging UK prices and making a killing!

Nintendo needs to pull their damned finger out their arse if they don't want to lose customers to Microsoft this Christmas. As the Wii only came out in the UK around Christmas time last year it was understandable that stocks were limited.

What the crap is their excuse this year? Sudden interest in their product, Christmas arrived too early for them, the UK is a far flung and difficult market for them? Who the hell knows, but if they get the shops stocked then Nintendo will do REALLY well this Christmas!

I wonder how that happend? Where did all the UK Wii's go?
I mean they are popular here too, but nowhere near sold out. I could go out to town and probably find at least 10 or more locally.
I wonder if the postal strikes have anything to do with this?

Presumably they are all on ebay!!! There are so many on there it's unbelievable. France has plenty, I will get mine from there, hopefully in time for Umbrealla Chronicles...

I think the supply problem doesn't lie with Nintendo but with people who buyand sell for a profit, it's again the hot gadget for Christmas and everyobdy is banking on it, shame really, we are now at the mercy of greedy individuals not corporation...

Bought these today, first time in awhile I purchased some PS2 games £2.50 each.

Been waiting for Endless Ocean (Forever Blue) since it was announced and it was only £19.99 so I can`t complain.....much.

Wii plastic tennis racquet thing was one a quid.
