    I'm a mate of Drussian's whom I know you have been talking to. I originally placed a bid on the HKT-01, but as I already have one (being repaired) I pulled out, especially as Drussian mentioned others from AG were interested. Well done none the less and good to see new faces! Diving straight in there with a nice bit of Katana kit.

    Bought Call of Duty 4 for the 360. Sort of a blind buy, but I'm glad I got it. Fantastic MP component.

    Check date on it, if it's 2005 / 2006, just wait it'll do it on it's own lol

    If the drive is on it's way out then chances are you'll not be able to use the unit sufficiently to get the kind of heat / time required on titles such as GoW that humped the processors. I have one exactly the same and have bitten the bullet and bought a new laser. Hopefully the unit will last as it's lost it's seal in the process.

    Are you obtaining this material from Cash Convertors / Generators by any chance? ;-)

    this particular one is from a friend and aside from theunit being hte 2005 one, everything else in the box (and the box itself) was a brand new premium pack! :D

    Manufacturing date is on the back as 25/12/2005 so i have a Xmas Xbox! lol

    i need ot get a copy of GOW so that i can just leave it running to RLOD it iguess..

    i popped the front panel off and the only sitcker i can find on the front cover is a small chrome one with microsoft on it.. is that the warranty label?

    also it wont eject the disc tray whil its vertical for some reason???

    oh and the cash convertors thing is working out well, i have 4x PSP's sat waiting for me and a few other items! :D

    Yeah, the chrome sticker is the warranty seal. Secure enough for a 2 yr old child to peel off and void it if they ever get the front off......that is from experience btw.

    Stick in a USB memory stick loaded with music, keep it playing as long as possible with the visualiser on full screen. This way its turned on and doing something and the GPU is at least doing something.

    Loads of buys this week with some costing a pretty petty (OUCH!!). For the Super Famicom there's a load of mint in box games apart from Street Fighter Zero 2 and Gun Force which both have minging boxes :( But they were both cheap so....

    From top left to bottom right - Kikikaikai (pocky & Rocky for those who like the dumb title), Kikikaikai 2, Macross, Cotton 100%, Super Valis (Some say it's crap but I'm a fan of the Valis series), Battle Zeque, The Firemen, Ranma 1/2 2, Ranma 1/2 3, Fatal Fury Special, Samurai Spirits, Shien the Blade Chaser, Street Fighter Zero 2, Gun Force, Virtual Wars (The Lawnmower Man) and Natsuki Crisis (Not the greatest 1 on 1 beat'em up out there but I'm a big fan of the anime so I bought this plus it's pretty rare).

    For Saturn I got a mint copy of Phantasmagoria or Phantasm in Japanese, to replace my really bad condition copy, Angelique Special 1 and 2 and some war games.

    Finally there's Bio Hazard Umbrella Chronicles for Wii that came with a free Umbrella card wallet.

    That must be one of the strangest machines I have ever seen. I ended up hitting YouTube to see what it can do;

    Looks like it'll take a bit of getting used to, but its bloody fantastic! Nice purchase Importaku!
