It's an arcade machine based on the hardware of the playstation2, the game is Mobile Suit Gundam Z: AEUG vs Titans.

On the right you can see from top to bottom, the namco board of the big size system 246 like the one on the url(the big one uses 2 boards), and the full motherboard of the compact unit.

 

Any other difference between the 2 hardware versions?

 

Yes, the network card.
And it's closer to the system 256, at least in shape...

Often, no, maybe more than one per month, it's hard to say really, sometimes only the games are for sale without the hardware.
They appear more often on Yahoo, check the thread.

 

It's taken me about 8mths to track down a System 573 and a System 12, both on eBay. However UJ pointed out and seriously assisted in my locating & purchasing a System 246 from Japan. YJ is a nightmare! It is STUFFED full of material you never come across (once in a blue moon) on eBay - you could become bankrupt following Yahoo Japan on a regular basis! OH:

 

Some classic games today with Herzog Zwei on the Mega Drive (No idea how to play it mind you), Ranma 1/2 (now I have all 3 Ranma fighting games for the SFC) and an obscure yet pretty cool if not a little hard, Majyuuou !
For Dreamcast there's Kapital Vol:1 which is nothing more than a coaster now since it could only be played online (Nice one Sega) and the SNK VS Capcom Fan Disc. I also picked up the Basara 2 twin pack featuring the main game and Basara 2 Heroes, oh and a nice calendar.

Before I left Japan, I bought the mintiest mint Famicom unit I've ever seen with the console being ultra white. the PSU, RF cables and 300/75 Ohm adaptor still being bagged and ununsed and the joypads being tied up looking quite new and has the manual and comic too.

I also bought a nice working PC-9821 laptop too as well as a number of games that it was famous for.

I just love it!!! It's so fun just to kill Zombies and not worry about the rest. I can't wait to go through the whole game. It makes me want to go through Resident Evil Zero all over again.

Yesterday was a really good day, got REUC and my 360 arrived back from repair and now it works!!! Less noisy than before :love: but they just forgot to ship my box back :shrug: Wonder how many time she will last...ray:

 

I'll end up buying a 360 next year as well just for Ghostbusters. The Wii version is looking shit. Bloody kiddy crap hand-my-downs again:crying: Still, at least with the 360 I can get some good racing games as well such as the latest Project Gothem :thumbsup: I'm just going to hold out until Ghostbusters is released in japan then snap on up with the game.

finally got Resident Evil 4 (GC) uncut version...damn you germans although the back is covered by a big polish sticker...it was worth the 20 euro shipped.

does anyone have a spare gamecube double disc box?

 

By then the hardware should even be more stable!!! I still can't believe they are marking a new Ghostbuster game, I loved the one made by Activision on my old MSX and the one on Megadrive can't wait...

 

SFC owning is very dangerous ! More minty games today. Magic Sword, Star Fox, Doom, Sparkster, The King of Rally, Gundam W Endless Duel and Cosmo Gang the Video.
For the saturn I got Private Idol Vol:9, Gal Act Heroism and Sangokushi Eiketsuden.

This is what i got today:



PS1 - Descent - SEALED - That's right, the game was sealed for 11 years. Some people will hate me, but i opened and played the whole afternoon. Great port, although the controls take a while to get used to.

PS1 - Cyber Sled - Got this mostly because of my curiosity. I remember the arcade game, always next to Ridge Racer, so i got it. Rather simple 3D Mech battle, the port has the option of texturized polygons. It's not great, but it's fun.

PS1 - FIFA Soccer 96 - This one came in as a bonus. But it's funny how soccer games evolved.

 

today i got 3 Sony PSX.. 2x 7xxx models and 1x 5xxx model.....

why 3 i hear you ask??? cos i had too, cos i wanted too, and cos a few other people i know wanted one aswell...
