A very nice rarity turned up in the post today. A Mega CD Sample disc! You don't see these very often in Japan unlike in the UK. This one is for Record of Lodoss War.

There are a number of sample and demo games for the Mega CD, but they don't turn up that often. A number of Game Arts game have demo/sample discs. I still want to get a complete Urusei Yatsura disc.

 

I've seen the Silpheed JPN Sample disc and I'm sure a Koie one but that's about it. Quite funny when you think about the UK with it's many Mega CD cover discs yet for Saturn there were next to none unlike Japan.

 

Got SBK 08 on the 360 come today in the post.

For a bike/racing game its not bad but don't think i'll be playing it much as i'm not into bike racing in real life or in games unless the game is of the off-road/motocross type which i quite like.

 

Awesome stuff! Are these items promo material or did they come with the pcb kit?

Promo items. I've never seen a kit sadly, so don't know what came with it. I thought Splatt had a dedicated cab (I vividly remember playing one, not this http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=9728) but have been told otherwise. Decals, art ect I guess. Although I've only ever seen the operator manuals and instruction cards for sale (which I have with the pcb).

A few 360 stuff came today although nothings been opened yet not even from the jiffy bags...etc.

Got PGR 3, Fifa 09 and a Joytech remote.

The final xmas presents turned up today, some dvd's i have been waiting for.

 

Got another 360 game arrive today and surpise surpise its a racing title - DiRt 1.

To be honest I'd be happy with just 2 racing titles for my 360, forza 2/3 then a fun arcadey game would be enough but my dad likes racing games so he's picked up a few. Now all i got to do ispick some shooters and other games probably Crackdown and GTA IV that i want to play instead of racing all the time.

 

Loving this card so far, not much of a pc gamer but starting to get more into it

I'll add pics of some of the other stuff I recently picked up later

 

Not bad card DiG, needing to pick up a new Graphics card for myself so i can get into PC a bit more since i don't do much due to my card being a few years old now and was looking at those 4770's not that long ago although need to upgrade my PSU first.

 

Yeah I needed a bigger psu just picked up a 550w BFGTech thing is a beast and this card is great

Finally got my copy of Mushihimesama Futari for the X360 this week after 6 (six!) weeks of waiting. Had almost already given up hope that it would turn up at all. But what a wonderful game!

Also got Windjammers, Art of Fighting 2 and Sengoku 2 for the Neo Geo MVS (all original) from a local seller. Probably a once in a lifetime chance over here. Will update with pics.

Edit: @Yakumo: "Nostalgia 1907" - a very nice sounding title for a game. Guess it's one of those interactive novels?

 

Yep, it is. Still, quite surprisingly the Mega CD version is the best version out there a bit like Popful Mail.
