Got a boxed Japanese Xbox in excellent condition today for 3400 yen today. Came with three games, including two Dead or Alive games. The controller was disturbingly sticky.

Also, the phrase "Japanese Xbox" should totally be slang for "something that's rare but only because no one wanted it"

 

I am still kicking myself for not buying a mint black Anniversary Xbox in 2007. Saw one in a shop for 6000yen, which was only $50 at the time. I could read the description at the time and it said that the instruction is missing, but otherwise complete... sigh :C

 

they go for somewhat less NIB. They are super common.

 

My copy of Biohazard HD REmaster finally came in today! (Surprise, surprise - it got sent out late in Japan and was late to arrive here as it got to the go-between in Japan AFTER THE RELEASE DATE / last Friday).

Got the 2013 re-release of Yuzo Koshiro's Etrian Odyssey/Sekaiju no Meikyuu soundtrack. Very good series of RPGs with great soundtracks, in my opinion; I especially love the PC-8801 FM versions on this one.

 

Peter Douglas Molyneux autograph/Battle of the Gods Black & White 2 Expansion Pack PC

Hello everyone,
I just came back from a thrift store with a PC Battle of the Gods Black & White 2 Expansion Pack import game from the UK. Apparently there is a signature on the front insert so I picked it up since it was $1.99. Apparently it looks like Peter Douglas Molyneux's autograph. He developed the game along with other classics like the Fable series and Populous. I can take pictures if anyone is interested in verifying the autograph.

 

GDEMU got delivered today.

 

Just got a Japanese N64 boxed and a Doctor V64 boxed. Two games, Banjo Tooie ntsc and Chameleon twist PAL carts only. The DrV64 has all its bits and bobs. Sold as not working, spares only. Paid £87 incl postage to Ireland. Plugged them in and they are both working! Happy out ☺️

Now I have every DOA to date, other than DOA 5 Ultimate.

 

I got the Dragon Quest Liquid Metal Slime Limited Edition PS4 this week. Pre-ordered on the 29th October. Total cost £400. Didn't have to pay import duties to the UK either, which is great!

 

Wow, nice. Is the liquid slime fixed or removable?

 

It's removable. Only sits in there lightly. Has a little plastic tab that goes into the usb socket to hold it in place.

 

that is a dope ps4. I have been eyeing on that ps4 for awhile mainly because it is silver, and I want it to match my silver ps3 which is also from JP. Also that is great that you didn't have to pay any duty fees. Lovely way to start the holidays

 

I just modded my Xbox 360 controller.
I just wish I could use it on the OG Xbox

 

How's the D-Pad on that mod?

 

It's just like the original OEM xbox 360 controller d-pad.
I actually wanted to mod this controller with a transforming d-pad ( when it still had the original housing), but I think I installed it wrong, because it just didn't feel right.
I screwed up the original controller housing and that was the reason I got this cool transparent one. The blue led's make it look much better in my opinion.
