    .

if I have that many missus will go off like you wouldn't believe.
I'm actually hiding most of my stuff in separate storage building I'm renting out... I do occasionally bring them to home to play but have to remember to take it back to the storage - which is pain really... :(

    cheers

I remember when Dreamcast was launched here, in a panic to buy the last Soul Calibur at Funcoland, my friend sold his Nomad to the clerk for $16.

My Girlfreind found a C64 games system in the trash outside her appartment. This was just before I started to collect classic consoles and videogames. At the time my plans were just to get the things I had had as a kid. (I got a bit more than that over time.. :smt040 ) She knew I was looking for a regular old C64, and that is what she thought she had found..
Sometimes I make fun and say that the C64 games system is the item that got my collecting habbit started. That really gets her going, cause she hates all the room my collection takes up.. :smt040

Also a month ago I found a Vectrex in great condition and four complete boxed games at a fleamarket for about 2 dollars. :smt023

I also got a game for the nes called Mr. Gimmick with booklet and the game Devil World for about 25 Dollars. Nes collectors know these two games, both of them are very rare, I have seen Mr. Gimmick go for about for 130 to 150 dollars cart only.. :smt023

That's what I can think of right now..

By the way, what do guys think a Commodore games system would fetch on ebay? I NEWER see them there..
Allthough it is rare, I don't think it is a much sought after item..

A Commodore 64? I've seen them on ebay a few times and fairly cheap each time (I've seen sets with games go for around £20+s/h)

No, it's not the plain old commodore 64, those are commen, really commen!

It's the console: C64 games system

    http://www.old-computers.com/museum/computer.asp?st=2&c=768

"..The C64 Games System was only sold in UK in 1990, and Denmark in 1991...It was a massive flop. 80,000 units were produced; less than 25% of them eventually sold. Most of the remaining units were taken back and dissassembled for parts for the 64G."

I bought six "Blaze Ultra 64 RGB cables" at a local ToysRus store for 19.- Euro each and sold them on ebay germany for 100.- Euro each !
That was during the US GameCube launch were every german import gamer without a NTSC-compatible PAL TV needed that cable for GB output.

    re

This was awhile ago, but I bought Seaman with everything for $3.00. The box was in awful condition, and those EB bastards threw stickers all over it. The disc, jewel case, and mic are all in mint condition, however.

I got a 2nd model Saturn with box, manuals and 2 controllers, along with 4 games(Virtua Fighters Remix, Daytona USA CCE, Area 51 and Sega Worldwide Soccer) for R$30,00*. Then I did a local shop and got Nights sealed.

Usually, Saturn is around R$100,00* with 1 controller and unboxed.

    * U$1 = R$ 3,00

This morning received a DC keyboard from ebay. I payed 1p (£0.01) plus £2 postage.

Received it today, had a label from the royal mail showing he had paid £4.35 postage.

Take into account ebay fees and Paypal fees, And i reckon the guy lost about £3 on the keyboard- I reckon thats a pretty good deal!
