Found a copy of Escape from Monkey Island on the PS2 at a thrift store. I didn't even know it came out on the PS2. Also picked up Sim Golf, Sim Copter, and Alone in the Dark 2.

From top left around clockwise: Battle Isle 2220 (which I've literally never heard of, but it's a big box PC game, and I can't say no to under $2), NHL 2002 ($1), Tekken 6 (also $2, and it's freaking Tekken), GTA Liberty City Stories and Disaster Report, each was $6.

 

Ughh, there's a Japanese Saturn at the thrift store by me for $30, I'm hoping it will still be there Monday morning when everything goes half price.

Nah, i wouldn't steal it. I got a modded Saturn off this forum almost 3 years ago. You were just the first local i noticed on the forum. Nice find! I'm only missing 5 consoles that i still want to obtain, but that search is on the back burner till i purchase a house....

 

Yeah, I should be buying less games cause I'm moving out of town soon, but it's hard to pass up a $15 Saturn with a stick.

Oh, and there' was a copy of Virtua Fighter 2 in the console too.

 

Gundam W is a pretty cool fighting game. It was programmed by Winky Soft.

 

8 more PS2 games: Sno-Cross 2, Iridium Runners, Pinball Hall of Fame, El Tigre, Swing Away Golf, Rock Band Track Pack, Guitar Hero and DDR Extreme for $5. Sno-Cross 2 and Swing Away were literally free.

 

That was a really solid deal. Kinda jealous, not gonna lie.

Once you get past the amazing amount of anime licenced crap you'll find some great games on the Wondrr Swan. Would love a Wonder Sway Crystal myself.

 

Yes, I'll have to start with games next! This one came with Final Fantasy, but not knowing Japanese is kind of a *minor* setback, lol. There are a few good games that can be enjoyed anyway.

 

Yeah, that's why I sold my WonderSwan, once I realized there were like 3 games that had English in them. It's a shame, cause it really could have been something had it come outside Japan.

The disc dont boot up in any ps drives i have. But i can read it with the dev burner. Holds the game "Rakujan". Short research shows this: http://psxrenzukoken.com/gallerieimage/thumbnails.php?album=1033 im sure its a beta/alpha version but ok not a really nice game at all ^^.
The Data on the disc are from july 2000, release was november 2000
