Post everytime you buy something game related and your unbelievable deals

Actually the games case was originally pink but Sonik (who I got it from) changed it to a black one but I changed that to a new Mega Drive case. The cart was a little dirty and the label was peeling so I made a new label to the same quality of an official one and gave the cartridge case a good wash.
The manual really is in good shape but the staples holding it together are rusted. I'll just replace those. Easy to do.

 

Well, it proves my point when i said people treated their games like crap back in the day. But thankfully this one went to a good home and it's cool you took the time to improve it's quality.

Can't even start thinking about what someone else did to my collection, after i sold it... Damn, I was such a stupid teenager.

PS: Out of curiosity, do you plan to feature it in a future video?

I've not though of doing a video on it but sometime in the future I want to do a Master System Retro Core. I'll need many more games before I can think about that episode. But when it happens I'll be adding Dynamite Headdy for sure.

 

I'm not sure why I even bought it in first place, well, maybe because I though it would be cool to own another piece of hardware not available in retail, but here it is - Xbox 360 Kiosk Control Pack:

Unfortunately I don't have any cables so it's impossible for me to check if it works. Still, I think it's a nice find - never came across it before.

Recently, amongst other things (I've been on kind of an N64 kick lately), I finally pulled the trigger on Skies of Arcadia for the DC, and yesterday, at an electronics store, found Teen Titans on the Xbox for $8.

 

Few things for me this last week:



The Shenmue and Dreamcast stuff was from a shop called Forbidden Planet, it included a passport cover, travel card Wallet and a greeting card.

2 nice PAL Asian Mega Drive games to add to the ever growing collection and Darius Gaiden for the Saturn. Great game.

 

Flea Market buys for the day. Lots of good deals. I missed out of a pristine copy of "In the hunt" for PS1 because she knew what she had and asked full eBay prices....eventually hopefully.

 

Does that Mark I Sega CD work? I've heard they're more expensive.

 

yes and no, I know the reseller so I didn't pay anything yet. It turns on, splash screen but the tray won't open. He's letting me take it home and see if I can fix it to drop the price dramatically. Once I get in it, i'll see if it's worth my time or not

I know they are less reliable than the mark 2 but I have to confess I think they look so much nicer in the "tower of power"

 

Good chance it's just the belt that needs to be replaced. Pain in the ass to do but there are YouTube videos on how to do it.

 

Just picked up a DECHA00A on ebay for $155

 

Picked up Rodea The Sky Soldier new for $13, plus I found a year of PS+ for $25.

 

Bought a Rapsberry Pi 3 to make a little emulation machine.

 

This month had some pretty nice pickups for me even though I ended up taking a short vacation.
Controllers were from a member on here and the XDK was NIB from craigslist.

 

I should report this for how cheap you got all this.

This months picks up. Gotta admit pretty happy with new KOF. Leaps and bounds better than SFV despite having more average looking 3D models.

 

Amazed to see this deal in a retail video game shop.

ColecoVision with Expansion #1 for $35, both items in original boxes. Really tight controllers, looks brand new besides for dust in the crevices, and works like a dream.

 

Picked this up today. Looks like it was a quiet PS4 physical print run exclusive to game stop in U.S. Really well done remake that retains the original difficulty of Assualt Suit Leynos/ Target Earth on Genesis/Mega Drive. If you can't find a physical copy still worth getting digital version.
