Although nothing TOO great I got boxed copies of Tokyo Extreme Racer 2 and Shenmue for $5 at a pawn shop grand opening. Zelda collector's edition for GC (the one with zelda 1, 2, OOT and MM) for $10 at another pawn shop. Seaman boxed with mike for free from a local toy store. A dreamcast and 3 games from a co-worker for $15. A Gamecube with Metroid Prime, Crystal Chronicles and Mario Sunshine for $40 at a garage sale. Traded VF2, VC1 and Daytona USA(the versions that came free with the saturn here in Canada) for D, Virtua Cop 2, Street Fighter Alpha, Rayman and a light gun. Got a Saturn with VF1 and Christmas Nights for free from a friend. Got a "broken" Dreamcast for free from an aquaintance (the modem was missing, guess he didn't try it out). In store demos of Sly Cooper, Arc the Lad, JetX2o, My Street and three kiosk demo disks for free from a thrift store. Nights for $5, not great except that inside was also a copy of Christmas Knights. And not video games but I got the entire series of Neon Genesis on VHS for $15 off ebay, good condition too!

Hmmmmmm....now that I look at it, I havn't done too bad for myself.

Although you probably didn't mean it, using the abreiviation Japs/jap is actully a racial slur.

JAP is pretty much ok now-a-days, at least in my mind. Its not a racial slur but Japs still is. I try to use JPN, however Im often finding myself writing Jap.

Want to send me one (N64, not family member...although, depending on how hardworking they are...) I'll pay the princely sum of £2.50 for just one! thats a 2500% profit!

I'm gonna clean em all out (theyre real gunky), RGB mod 'em all, and remove the tabs from the cart slot (so they play Jap and USA games) and knock a few out for £8 each, plus postage (nothing included, just the unit)

I'd sell the bare units for £5 each i spose....

    Hows that sound?

    Andy

Ps: I'm not being intently ridiculous with the cost, but imagine the postage cost to get them to me from japan... Not Cheap

  20. Just picked up a Gamecube for $12.50... sold as non-working because the power button was stuck down and couldn't power up anymore. Previous owned must have had some pretty grubby little kids, the power button had a ring of what appeared to be raspberry lollypop goo around it. 1 Q-tip, a little rubbing alcohol, and 5 minutes later I now have a perfectly good working Gamecube. Went out to Gamestop and bought a used copy of Pikmin, and I must say, it is one of the most incredibly addictive games I think I have ever played.
