Nice, I've been to Yeovil car boot sale 3 weekends in a row with a PS2 on my shopping list. Not seen one yet, only Xbox's.

Proof positive that haggling is your friend, that 'knowing your salt' about a particular product can help you blag a good deal - and it's always to have a group of friends with you so you can turn £10 notes into shrapnel to make it easier to offer exact figures!

Patience is a virtue - this is probably the first PS2 I've seen at a car boot.
You'll find the best deals and the good stuff at one-off car boots - regular car boots mean you commonly get regular car-booters!
Finally, Keep your eyes peeled and move fast! There's more than likely at least 3 other people at the car boot who want what you want.

i took a boxed pal psx for free from a person at my University cause he prefered to give it to me than throw it away.
Also one PS2 for free again from a friend of mine who had two.. O_O
And lastly the other day i bought the rare european pocket reversi game (Neo Geo Pocket Color) for about 27 bucks shipped which costs approx 60-70$ loose.

Well I was at work today and we had a lady come in with a large bag of 2600 games. My manager just said we could give her $10 for them, which was a lie since they trade in for a few cents a piece. Me and him just put $5 each in the drawer after she left, and took turns picking games. I got 16 games total and one of them was a game I'd never seen before. It's called Harbor Escape and it's made by Panda Inc. Looked it up on Digit Press and it turns out to be a clone of River Raid worth about $40. So I was happy. :icon_bigg

thanks man, I always look for nice buys.

looks like I might be also tradin my 1975 Oldsmobile Delta 88 convertible for a 1973 Plymouth `Cuda. I'll post those details later if the trade really happens or not.

I was just going through and cleaning up the discs from finger prints, etc and inside the case of jeopardy was also "WWF Rage In The Cage" so add another game to the list.

Free fat PS2 under the condition it would not read games. they told me if i could fix it i could have it and if not i could still have it. stripped it and it must of been dropped or something parts of the lazer assembly are missing/broken. but it doesnt matter i can keep it for spares and repairing.

Hope your video output isn't as crappy as mine's. Also, enjoy RF.

You can easily mod them you know. And quite honestly, i dont mind RF on a standard TV.

Either way it's better than not being able to play my games at all. AV cables are great and all, but if the picture looks like crud because the cart isn't ever being read properly, what's the point?
