Oh man, that sucks, the same thing happened to me back in 2007 while living in Miami. Got a 50" rear projection tv for free too, but there wasn't even bad picture quality at all ... it was completely busted and getting it fixed would cost a fortune, so one night I had to take it in the company van up to the nearest dump and dispose it. It sure was a sad, sad night :crying:

    Hopefully you can repair yours.

here are some pictures of the tv. as you can kinda see, the image on the tv is pretty stinkin' dark with a lot of red and green shadows and what not.

As you can see it's pretty big. It'd be awesome to get it back to it's former glory. Smash Bros. plays wonderfully on it. and the speakers and sound are great!

Looks like the projection tv needs a bulb. Should be cheap on ebay.

Got a working Development Kit Xbox for $20 at a Swap Meet about a week ago.

Belonged to Neversoft, as it had American Wasteland beta installed.

    .......................
I am sure you all remember this little bargain and it`s story

Well I didn`t need to get a power supply for the PAL booster, it eventually all worked anyway

Well as a courtesy I e-mailed the guy to say it was all fine, he said thanks for the update and then offered me a cube and some games for £10, I said I would check with my son as he had £5 pocket money from a nan and let him know. Anyway about 2 days later he said I can have it because of the problems with the N64

So a US cube with a region switch, another step down, 2 games and freeloader, and official memory......all for nada

I wonder why the GameCube has become such a cheap piece of hardware while its games still go for serious money in comparison to i.e. Xbox.
