The best "trade" I've ever made is fairly recent. I have this client I work for on a regular basis at the company I'm employed with. But they're not too good at granting him time, so when I offered to work some evenings to get some high demand features added to his site, I should just write the hours I used like normally and my company would charge him like always.
But on top he threw in a brand new full spec 2011 13" MacBook Air, I should just order it, and send him the bill.
Now that's some hours well spent;)

Got my first Atari Jaguar + 4 games for R$300 (Brazilian Reais) something like $187. It's not unbelievable but here in my country that's a good price.

The seller gave me a N64 black controller and pokemon stadium for the n64 as a bonus.

Given the condition I'd say that's not an "unbelievable" trade. I can understand why he gave away Kasumi Ninja, too ;)

Among the worst of the Jaguar's library... and that's saying something.

well anyway. its the first one i have seen with my own 2 eyes since they were being sold at KB's Toys in the early 90's. It was a huge "Miracle" to me. I'll try to do a better next time.

I didn't mean to come across as a dick, just pointing out that it's a relatively common thing to see - a lot of Jaguars weren't out of their box for long, and they aren't that pricey as a result. If you pick up a few more games you'll see why ;)

In honesty, it's one of three gaming systems that I've owned and then sold. I mildly regret the other two (Super A'Can and Virtual Boy) but I have zero desire for another Jaguar. I bought all the "best" games for it and came away pretty disappointed. I hope you can derive more satisfaction from it than I did.

I got an LG-GDR-8164b DVD drive from the local university's(universities?) property disposition for 4 USD. Not amazing, but pretty good.

Saw this on craigslist today. Met up with the seller and purchased it instantly. Quite a nice bit of luck!

A twitter follower sent me a brand new never used 6 Button pad for the Mega Drive for free.

And even threw in some chocolate eggs as a late easter present.

I get some weird but very nice fans.
