Where did you get yours, if you don't mind my asking? I've been looking for a decent one.

 

I listen to nothing but game OSTs. I think I'm the epitome of nerddom, but I don't care.

Oh, and here is my current desktop.

 

I do that too hehehe. About 6GB of my 9GB of music is game music....usually ripped from my CD's too. I only download when something is ridiculously expensive or impossible to find.

 

Heh, I only download music for games I like from Galbadia Hotel.

I have about 5.66 Gigs of music, ranging from Actraiser to Zelda. The Actraiser symphonic suite is AWESOME.

I really like the Albert Odyssey soundtracks as well.

Since GH uses a semi-retarded and pointless award system for mass downloading privileges, I could make a torrent if anyone is interested.

If anyone is interested, let me know, and I'll make a new thread for just this.

The following OSTs I have are:

Actraiser Symphonic collection (Very rare and expensive, normally.)
Arc the lad I and II OSTs
The Dragon Force OST (pretty bad quality, imo)
An ASS TON of Final Fantasy OSTs from very many people. (These are seperated by title. FF3, FF8, and FF11 OSTs not included.)
Katamari Damacy OST (not sure which song is from which OST. I think Itunes seperates them, though.)
I also uploaded some of my OSTs, such as the Lunar 1 and 2 (Psx version) to my PC as well.
*Unofficial* Disgaea OST
Shadow of the Colossus (OST and game rip)
Tales of Phantasia (Psx version) OST
And finally, a few random symphonic Zelda songs.

I even might throw in some images I have saved over the years, because it wouldn't add much to the overrall size, and some of them would be considered rare, like scans from an artbook of SOTC depicting the conceptualization process and very early drawings of a few of the Colossi and etc.

Before anyone starts, yes I KNOW these songs have their own intellectual property and etc., and GH probably WILL be shot down eventually (Square already made them take their OSTs down), but I don't want to have to import and spend ridiculous amounts of money on a track with ten songs, or have to buy some game to get the OST with it, imho.

I only have a handful of game OST's, but quite a little collection of 8bit/chiptunes. And of course the Cowboy Bebop game OST

 

Same with the torrent thing here, I think I have an OST for every game I own. There's also Soulseek.

Ok, ok.

But Yakumo, you have the ability to just go out and buy every game OST you want without waiting for shipping and etc., since you are situated in the land of the rising sun, after all.

Oh, and PhrequencyViii, Galbadia Hotel isn't a peer to peer service, nor do I like P2P services because they suck and usually never have what I'm looking for...ever. Galbadia Hotel is more like a HUGE database filled with ripped game OSTs, and thats about it. Normally you download track by track, but mass downloading is given for a certain amount of points, and if you know where to put the link, you can EASILY get 500 points in a week.

Also, I have NO CLUE why my GH refferal link is in my sig. I typed it over and over without code, and still links to GH for some reason. I'm long past the need for the points anyway, so its not like I'm spamming. And I think that DoW quote is cool.

Anyways, I don't download "Warez" like illegal copies of programs (anymore), since I had a huge accident when trying to get one a while back (I think it was a movie file converter of some sort), got a Trojan, and had to format my hard drive. That was my first, and last, illegal program I tried to get on my PC, unless of course you count ROMs and Emulators, but then again, I'm not really "in" to emulation anymore either.

Also, in addition to MP3's, GH also has an artbook scan section, Manga scan section, and a few other things but mass downloading hasn't been enabled for them yet, so I don't have any from those.

 

I've got a whole collection of Bathing Ape / Baby Milo wallpapers ^_^.

 

If I may ask, where did you get that theme? What colors does it come in?

I used to have that theme, eats quite a bit of memoire compared to the original XP themes
