This is from my Eee PC. I use this thing more than my desktop now. Edit: I decided I'd change my wallpaper.
in all honesty, Taemos, how much does the Eee PC suck? The screen seems not to take advantage of the whole surfac provided for the monitor, which pisses me off the most =/
The monitor got on my nerves for the first few hours I used it, as did the keyboard. I got used to both; the screen could be bigger, yes, but it would also have been more expensive, so it seems like a fair trade to me. I take it everywhere. It's so small and light I don't feel it inside my bookbag, which was definitely a problem with my laptop. I can see it drawing a lot of attention, though. I'm at a university and I've had a few people ask me about it and countless others stare silently. Yakumo: The way I've been describing it to people is that it's a really, really small computer that doesn't have an optical drive. The default OS kind of cripples it, but it's not very hard to install something else. Linux Mint is what I have installed up there now. edit: speeling
How did you put that shortcuts toolbar? I've been looking for one of those for XP for a long time (I hate having tons of icons in the screen and look for the app in the start menu every time becomes kind of annoying)
http://www.rob-sheridan.com/sketchblog/pics/mario2-wallpaper2.jpg AWESOME wallpaper, beware, very high resolution! (Mario Bros related, but with a twist)
Here's my ubuntu dekstop on my acer...though im seriously thinking of using eeexubuntu on the eeepc after having spent some quality time with ubuntu Ryan
Kind of like cleaning up a house before guests come over, I clean up my desktop before screen capping. lol. someone on this forum posted this matrixish picture and i photoshopped it.
Not going to post mine directly as its 3600 pixels wide! heres a thumbnail though It's a Zune Theme (Not that I own or want one! just thought the theme was cool) with a background of a picture I took myself
