I thought it would be nice for us all to share are new next gen gaming set ups. I'll go first with my Wii. Nothing too great but it's a start.

Here it is nice and snug between the speeker and TV anlong with my two Wii remotes. I've got a classic controller too but forgot to add it :(

A nice wide shot. Everything you see here goes through the stereo for some smashing audio. DVD, Saturn, Dreamcast, Video and now the Wii. Everything is connected to the TV via a S-Video switch box since we don't have scart RGB in Japan ;( The Mickey Mouse clock belongs to the missus.

Very nice setup, I myself am waiting for the 1080p sets to drop price before switching to hd. As for yakumo's setup, I just noticed also his dvd player seems the size of the wii. Can you confirm this yakumo?

Yep, my DVD player the same size of the Wii :) Bought that about 1 and half years ago before anyone had seen anything of the Revolution as it was called back then. I was going to place the Wii on the DVD player but decided it would be a waste to have it stuck down there.

Yakumo, I think after these pictures, you need to change your tele. Your scanlines are visible and the colours not as good as they should be. Ask santa for a nice TV set ;)

Anything SD looks like crap on my HDTV. Old small CRTs are still ideal for gaming.

@SilverBolt: are you using a component cable? I see only 3 cables but it looks pretty sharp.

It's just the standard composite, but my tv can digitally enhance image quality ( DNIe from samsung) and it does a good job making even composite looks very nice, but still i want the component cable badly but it's not available anywhere :banghead:

No Wii yet but the PS3 will do :3 Bravia XBR3 46", cost me around $4000 after adding all the accessories. But I did get no payments no financing until 2009. I can easily pay it off by then so no worries ;)

Either it's just the angle the pic was taken at, or your entertainment unit looks like it's about to fall apart from the middle because of all of the electronics on it.

    Still, nice stuff!

Ah, that's just the picture. The TV looks very sharp (no pun intended) with really nice colour. Still I would like a new TV but with the evil "you don't need that" missus living in the house I can see a new TV still being quite some time away.:crying: Then again, I could break this one then we'd have to buy a new TV

No, thats just the lense on the video camera. The missus was using the fisheye type setting to take some stupid pictures of her dog yet forgot or more likely didn't bother to put the normal setting back on.
