LOL, nice one! Simply change your MAC address? I think maybe you are using smack instead of SMAC! ;-)
Well, doing quickly a cheap FPS would have been not a so bad idea to make some mony. No need for a solid scenario nor a solid level design. Some SF story and "save the world alone with your magnum gun" and that would have made it... Graphics are not that cheap, though level is unfinished, but the desert map is quite great for 2004 xbox game. There was defintely something possible fast and nicely, there are so many FPS engines and ideas in this domain to stole, so it's a way to make cheaply and quickly a game to get some money... But it's pure speculation and knowing acclaim had no time to release 100% finished The Red Star and almost complete Juiced, i don't think they thought about running new projects...
Damn, this is pretty cool. There's really nothing there, but it still makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Merci!
For further release information have a look in the "Acclaim screencaps ATV3...." thread. New information posted. ;-)
Care to shed any light on this? I can agree to a point that it may not be anything to do with Turok, but the fact that the .xbe file and the folder on the debug it was pulled off were both titled 'Turok' hence why i gave it that tentative name Of course it could be in relation to the other folder on the debug HDD which is a build of 'Mobwars' (a early build of mademan) which has the same file structure and the same onscreen stats output, but this sadly locks when you switch 'levels'
